Lil Karai's customs

Hi All-

Almost done with my custom Newtralizer. Just need to add some finishing details on the button and weapon lights. "Rakka Rakka!"

I like the black wash and he looks much better with the tail filled in. Are those krang tentacles on the original sculpt or did you add them? Also is that a backdrop from toystages?

I added the tail filler (2-part apoxie sculpt). The Krang tentacles are part of the original sculpt. I painted a lot of the armor that was brown and then extended the underbelly red color to his throats and down the tail, just like fire belly newts actually are. Just wish he had more articulation!

Yes Toy Stage background!

You should try adding revoltech joints for added articulation. They're pretty cheap on ebay and come in a variety of sizes.

Hm! Interesting idea! I've never attempted anything like that before.

It's really not that difficult just search revoltech joints in images and there's a little diagram that shows the knee and elbow joints. You can also search peppy4brawl on youtube and he shows how to use them.

Much cooler looking, Lil Karai. Great idea, filling in the tail like that.
