Thank you guys, so much! I am now waiting on an item to arrive from Amazon, so I can complete the final touches on the Don heads, before making them available. I will push hard to get Raph completed this April.
I have a TON of work to do in my profession, but I'll sneak in and out of this hobby, as much as I can. |

I was contemplating doing that myself, but I felt I'd just concentrate on the first film instead and push it as far as I can. So it's nice to know someone out there is tackling all the films. |

Hello again fellas. I've been tremendously busy with work, so I had to take a small break from this fun stuff.
I will finally be putting up one pre-primed, unpainted, movie Donatello head cast, on ebay, later today. I will then prepare one more listing for a fully painted head. Raph is nearly ready for the baking and molding stages. Taking baby steps right now as I tend to more important work. By the way, I also put this brief video clip together of the Don head, if any of you care to see it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YqCXg2nArrI Here's a couple of pics of the prepped and unpainted, Donatello resin cast, I'm putting up for auction. Spoiler:

And a newly painted copy, with a little light tint on his beak this time. Spoiler:
I'll be back later with a link to the listing, in case any of you are interested. As soon as my Raph head is baked hard, I'll come back and share pics. Take care guys. Last edited by Splint'r; 04-23-2017 at 05:41 AM. |

Hey man, I bought one of your unpainted casts on ebay and absolutely love it. I'd put off buying the figures this whole time but now with your head cast of Don I had to get the figures. Looking forward to painting it now. I wanted to post a vote of encouragement for you to keep going on the other brothers in the (selfish) view to buying all of them from you! seems as though Neca wouldn't produce 6" scale for a long time (if at all) from the latest sdcc announcements and you are too talented a sculptor to not finish the brothers! I remember seeing your early version of this way back, always been on the look out for accurate versions in 6" scale and you nailed it. Hopefully you continue to enjoy it!

First of all, thank you so much for your support. I'm very glad you approve of the sculpt! Let me know if you need any help, etc.
I'm definitely going to finish up the rest of the bros. The only hurdle I had to deal with this past two months, was my job in illustration. I had to complete a set of art pieces for my clients before I could return to this project. I want to try and finish up Raph (molding and casting) in June, since I couldn't make it happen this month. After him, will come Leonardo and so on. With Mikey, I'm going to see about tooling the peg hole, just a little deeper, so he can stand just a little shorter, next to his brother, without ruining the articulation and I might even re-sculpt the upper legs, just a tiny bit shorter and tool it so it can easily be installed to the factory knee/shin joint, after heating the plastic with an air dryer for a few seconds. I really want to pursue a 2.0 set of heads, pushing the accuracy even further, with all new expressions. I hope I can get to that after I'm settled into my new home in the next few months... So much I want to do, so little time to do it all. Seriously, thank you guys for being so supportive. I don't think I would be doing this now, if it weren't for all the encouragement I received, in my original post, from a couple of years ago. Rock on |

Thanks bud. Yeah, I had to hand paint those. I don't know if I could ever use water decals on those tiny slits without messing up. They're real small when you see it in person.

I love the plans! Well I'm a customer for life now, going to order paints and get to it. would be amazing to have 1 set of heads for the bros let alone alternate head sculpts!!
I have an idea of how to layer up the paints but I'm by no means an expert - I am very impressed with the spots you've done on the skin around the mask and everything - better than many attempts I've seen on Instagram - would appreciate any tips on painting those if you get a moment, thanks! |

That's incredible! I saw this on ebay and assumed it was for the NECA figure. Fine work, my friend!

Absolutely incredible work! I'm in love with the Donnie head sculpt and I'm most definitely interested to see you redo Leo.
Will you be making these available to order or will you be solely listing them as eBay auctions? Either way, I hope to own one of your awesome customs at some point. |

@Zachatello00 Thank you so much! That's a major compliment, considering the amazing work the artists at NECA, created. I strive to give it my best.
@Bmaga123 I am so glad you enjoy your head copy! Thank you so much for your support. Honestly you guys are the sole reason as to why I kept on this little labor of love. @OrokuYoshiFilms Thank you so much! @SilverNinja Thanks buddy! Ebay's seller hub, keeps better tabs on order history/receipts/address and the like, making sales more secure for both buyer and seller, so I will continue to use that option, rather than take orders directly from forums. I'll be back soon with more updates on the rest of the bros. Thanks again fellas. Take care |
