They added a feature in which, If the player you play against online, Rage quits during a Match, You are rewarded with this.

that features awesome. glad MK isn't like street fighter with online play. i remember i was playing against the CPU online and every few seconds it'd be like " a new challenger has entered the areana" or something like that. kept automatically putting me in online matches. had to sign out to play normally

I hope they have something similar to Killer Instinct though where ragequitters go to 'jail' and can only fight in 'jail' for a certain amount of time.

I'm a big big MK fan, so thought I'd chime in too.

My main is Sub-Zero, been using him since day 1 (MK1), I also like Scorpion and Smoke, Liu Kang is also fun, but for some reason I just flow better with Sub Zero then any other character.

I have to say I'm sooo looking forward to this except I got an xbox360 so gonna have to wait a couple of months extra, I don't really care about the downgrade in graphics as long as the gameplay and content are on par with the next gen I'm happy. I also think out of the new character's Takeda's game play looks hellafun, I'll be sure to learn him as well as pick up where I left off with my main man Sub Zero

So far, I like the idea of the brutalities aka mini fatalities as opposed to the full cut scene of fatalities, I got used to these in both MKM-SM and MKM-SZ. It made the flow of the game so much better, the cut scene fatalities are cool but once you do them a few times you just want the round to end quickly.

Storywise, love what they've done to Scorpion, he needed a change and being a mentor/fatherfigure is EXACTLY what he needed, can't wait to see where it goes. I like his more simpler look too. Kotal Kahn from the comics also seems like an interesting character. I'm also hoping both Sub Zero brothers are in there, I'm used to Kuai Liang NOW but I'd love for Bi-Han to get a shot at redemption. I might be in the minority but MKM-SZ is one of my alltime favourite games, it revealed a lot about his character and I feel he has always been an anti hero as opposed to full on evil like he is as Noob Saibot.

I think the roster could be better though, it's just too special forcesish right now and I've never been a fan of that faction. I'm a ninja guy...go figure That being said it's still early days and when the Komplete Version is released I'm sure it could be better than what it is now. So yeah, I still can't wait!

Hey, has anyone managed to figure out the final boss yet?

I've been looking on trmk and mortalkombatonline and the comics where so far it seems it's either

Fire God Liu Kang, Dark Raiden, Shinnok, Havik, Reiko, Noob Saibot or Mileena

I've also noticed that there has been no thread on those sites that has put together all the clues that NRS has put out there. I don't know maybe we could start putting the clues together in this thread just for something to do.

I'll get the ball rolling.

Clue 1: The boss is someone we know WELL (Rules out new characters)
Clue 2: We should have an idea of who they are from the 1st Story Trailer
Clue 3: The boss is a fun SURPRISE returning character that NO ONE will see coming(That seems to rule out Liu Kang, Raiden and Shinnok to me as they are VERY OBVIOUS choices based on MK9 and also the route they went with the boss of Injustice.)
