North Korea hit by small earthquake

Small Earthquake Rattles North Korea, and the World’s Nerves

Quote:
A small earthquake was detected on Saturday afternoon near North Korea’s underground nuclear test site, reviving fears that the country had set off another bomb.

Chinese seismologists said the activity was most likely caused by an explosion, but the United States Geological Survey said it was too early to say whether the cause was natural or artificial.

The South Korean seismology agency said the quake was probably natural, and the North did not immediately issue a statement or say that one was coming, as it has done when conducting previous tests.

The three agencies gave varying estimates for the magnitude of the earthquake: the Americans, 3.5; the Chinese, 3.4; and the South Koreans, 3.0.

Looks like someone is testing their tectonic weaponry. Or maybe the US and/or Japan is sending a little message.

I don't think a 3.0 earthquake is strong enough to do any visible damage. I've felt a couple of 4.2 richter scale earthquakes before and nothing collapsed nor did anyone get hurt.

Also, if a very strong earthquake devastated NK it'd mostly kill innocent people. The government officials and Kim Jong Un would most likely survive. So it's not really appropriate to say "karma is a bitch"

Maybe the Earthquake was God's way of warning North Korea.

You actually might just be dead on with that.

"Cool." Checks box. "It can work." Picks up phone. "Mr. President, we're at stand-by."

Sure it is. This is punishment for NK wanting to kill people so karma has a way of balancing that out. And I'm not saying innocent people dying is a good thing. I just meant it's karma for the people who want to do harm.

So would you consider Hurricane Harvey and Irma karma for the U.S sending in drone strikes.

It's too bad millions of innocent people in North Korea are going to wind up getting killed because their leaders in government are a bunch of morons.
