After playing the game, I'd like to throw in a few things I'd love to see in a sequel.
More characters: - Hun - Renet - Bishop - Cyborg Baxter Stockman or Robot hologram head Baxter - Mr. Touch and Mr. Go - Kahn - Tatsu - Bebop - Rocksteady - Krang - Mondo Gecko - Leatherhead - Rat King - Nobody - Tokka - Rahzer - Super Shredder(maybe as a final boss) - Fly Baxter - Mona Lisa - Triceraton More Costumes: - Classic Shredder(both OT and Mirage) - Toon Turtles(maybe with the original voice actors) - Toon April - Short haired classic Casey - Classic toon Foot Ninja - Costumes based on playmate toys(the good ones) More stages: - Technodrome interior - New York Alleyways - Dimension X - Triceraton Homeworld - Future New York City - The artic wastelands with the Technodrome in the background - Feudal Japan - Tokyo - Rooftop of the Channel 6 building - Underground abandoned subway(as a nod to the original films) Misc: - Less Rabbids - Use something other than the CGI movie designs - Better story - Hire a better announcer |

More Characters (remove the Rabbids please!): -Bebop -Rocksteady -Hun -Baxter Stockman (fly or 2k3 robot suit) -Miyamto Usagi -Leatherhead -Foot Elite -etc. |

Right. Because Turtles in time Re-shelled worked so well and that was a remake of a GOOD game.
<--- Not a tournament fighters fan

I know but it wasn't nearly as good as the original and the original was amazing.
Tournament Fighters is......not. Imagine a half as good version of a game that wasn't good to begin with.

A clone of Smash-Up would be a completely different monster if I were in charge. Instead of a Smash Bros. clone I would either make it a spiritual sequel to Tournament Fighters and essentially a Street Fighter IV clone or I would make it a Soul Caliber clone. The big differences between the two would be the combo system, how much focus there is on the weaponry, and how the special attacks would work. If you've played the games I've mentioned then you know basically what I'm talking about.
What would be included no matter which version I made would be characters being represented by the comics, the live action movies, and the cartoons. It would essentially cover characters from Turtles Forever with a slight expansion. - Comic characters would have different "outfits" (skins) that reflect different artists and incarnations (including Archie) - OT characters would have different skins that reflect different points in the series (1st Season, mid-series CBS, and Red Sky) - OT Michelangelo would have an unlockable "Grappling Hook" option - The movie TMNT would have different skins based upon which movie you wanted them to look like (1, 2, 3, or the CG film) - 2k3 characters would have different skins to reflect the various seasons (2k3, FF, or BttS) - The characters' fighting styles would have moves that reflect memorable fight scenes - The story would be bare bones because my focus would be to make the gameplay rival an arcade fighting game - Secret characters would mostly be alternate versions of established characters (Super Shredder, Archie's future Raph, human Bebop and Rocksteady, etc.) that have slightly different combos as well as different strengths and weaknesses from their regular counterparts - A Tekken-style optional little beat-em-up mode would be included just for fun, but wouldn't be the focus of the game I could go on forever, but I'd bankrupt any company's third party budget and go over the development time limit easily with my idea for a TMNT fighting game. |

Yeah....think I'll keep it my fave anyhoo....
If a sequel to smash-up was made,it would need waaaay more characters. That was the part that bummed me out about the game. What we really need is a sequel to tournament fighters |

Which one? The Nes and genesis one suck. The SNes one is ok, but is still a tad bit lacking...

Closest to Street Fighter 2 back when it came out when there were almost no other good fighters besides SF2.
Those days are long gone. I'm sorry, I just really dislike tournament fighters.

I don't agree, but I respect your opinion I wish(dream) that a smash-up sequel would maybe focus more on 2pl. instead of 4pl. bigger levels would be great too,but still keep the interactive/changing parts atleast 20 characters, but hopefully 40 or something keep the ones in the game and add: Ratking Slash Baxter Stockman(fly, scientist and robot) Leatherhead Renet Usagi and some original ones too |

I felt that TMNT the game (Based on the 2k7 movie to be clear) was a step in the right direction.
A platform/action game in the style of the latest Ninja Gaiden games would be awesome.

Well, obviously, a sequel to Tournament Fighters would be developed to today's fighting game standards, not yesteryear where SFII was God and all you could do was get "close" to it.

Hell yeah to both of those statements. Though it was at times a slight bit repetitive, TMNT was a GREAT game.
