Yikes, could they dare to use this version? Screen Junkies was none too impressed with the backstory, and frankly, neither am I.

Barbara Ann Minerva
Spoiler:

Barbara Ann Minerva as the Cheetah. Art by George Pérez.
The third Cheetah is British archaeologist Dr. Barbara Ann Minerva, born as the heiress of a vast fortune in the ancient family site in Nottinghamshire. Ambitious, selfish, and severely neurotic, Barbara develops a passion for archaeology that eventually led her to search out a tribe in Africa who utilizes a female guardian with the powers of a cheetah. A band of marauders kill the guardian and most of what remained of her original expedition party. Barbara, with the aid of the priest, Chuma, the caretaker of the ancient plant god Urzkartaga, takes her place after being told that she would gain immortality. Her powers are conferred to her by ingesting a combination of human blood and the berries or leaves of Urzkartaga. Unfortunately for Minerva, the host of the Cheetah persona is intended to be a virgin. Minerva is not, however, so her transformations were part curse and part blessing, as she experiences severe pain and physical disability while in her human form and bloodthirsty euphoria while in her cat form.[5]

Hm, this human version of BAM looks a lot like Wiig.

I'm seeing the look, I'm just not seeing her being able to find her inner killer/brutal person and audiences being able to buy it. But maybe she can.

So excited to confirm the most thrilling news. Yes! It’s true! So incredibly lucky to welcome the sensationally talented Kristen Wiig to our Wonder Woman family. Can't wait to finally work with one of my favorites. And SO excited by what we have planned. #Cheetah!!! @GalGadot

They'll have to CGI the hell out of her. That is, if Cheetah is going to look remotely like Cheetah.

Did filming already start? Don’t people start training early for these kinds of movies?

I don't get the magic of wigg. one movie i saw her in the performance was about as phoned in as a steven wright comedy routine attitude.

She'll probably train like Gadot did. But looking at that picture of Pratt, I have to wonder if he was able to accomplish that without any help from certain kinds of needles and oral "supplements."

I think it's probably really easy to get into shape like that when you have someone making all your food, and you do nothing but workout.

One thing I'll always appreciate about Pratt, is how vocal he was about missing real food.

To compare, let's see a shot of Andrew in a bikini.

It depends on body type and genetics. But I think it’s absolutely achievable with zero supplements. He looks to have a very natural physique. Just very low calories and working out everyday. I think that’s achievable in about a years time. I mean he could have used illegal fat burners or something but it is doable without.

She's almost 45, I think she looks pretty good if you take that into account and yeah she'll likely train. I still think she's very ugly but it's not because of some unflattering paparazzi shot.

I'm wondering if Cheetah is meant to be beautiful?

Catwoman wasn't really beautiful in the comics, or hyper-sexualized until Burton. Isn't Cheetah just a Rich B*tch spoiled brat? Looks don't factor in really. Wiig is scary AF when she plays crazy, Like i said before, watch welcome to me. Damn.

When you think about it, There are only a handful of conventionally beautiful women by definition, like Mary Jane, Jean Grey, Vampirella, etc, and they rarely cast type anymore.

Cheetah is an anthropomorphic cat, only furries will actually find her beautiful.
