Favorite casting gags?

The Nick show has done some fabulous casting gags, where some of the characters are voiced by an actor with some relevance to that role.

For instance, John Boyega is cast as the rabbit ronin Usagi Yojimbo. He had previously starred in Watership Down, a show about a group of rabbbit warriors.

My favourite casting gags are:
- Mae Whitman as April. Her mom Pat Musick was Mona Lisa in the 87 show. (Both she and her daughter voice the love interests to a Rob Paulsen Turtle, 87 Raph and 2012 Donnie)

- Michael Dorn as Captain Mozar and Kate Mulgrew as Zera. Having Star Trek Starfleet officers voice Triceratons was pretty cool.

- Minae Noji (Karai in the 2014 TMNT film) as Karai's mom.

- Robert Englund and John Kassir (nightmare horror icons) as the Dream Beavers. (Along with Bill Mosely from the Texas Chainsaw Massacre wielding a chainsaw).

- Renae Jacobs (April in the 87 show) as April's mom. (Though that didn't really work out)

What were your favourite casting gags?

I'll tell you about the ultimate missed opportunity here, they got Lance Henriksen and they didn't cast him as the android, with an alien in it's chest, named Bishop!... How did this pass them by?!

Better yet, Dorn and Michael Ironside (Emperor Zanmoran) used to play Kalibak and Darkseid, respectively.

Daran Norris as Wingnut, considering he voiced Batman in a Nieli/Auman production back in 2010.

Clancy Brown voiced Bradford and he mutated into Dogpound and then Rahzar. He was in Gargoyles and he voiced The Pack member Wolf and he also mutates.

I had to look that up. Looks like some obscure attempt to see if the Justice League could still be marketed as the Super Friends.

Kind of. It was a pack-in DVD with a toy marketed for younger folks.

Kinda like that Batman movie where he battles countless clones of the Joker in VR by firing off a turret on a robotic T-rex. Still can't believe that's an actual thing...
