Fan club & 2k3 introduction mini comics

Since these can't be purchased or really found even I though I'd scan em so everyone can enjoy! I would imagine alot of people havent seen the 2k3 comic... At my local TRU in 03 or 02 they were giving away foxboxes with sticker sheets, & comics and all this cool stuff promoting the kirby show & tmnt etc.

Heres 2k3; I think Dooney did it.

Yeah in the 2k3 they look to be Dooney's work. Awesome. Who did the interior art for the Fan club comic?

I'm not sure, it doesn't say. Its reminiscent of eastman somewhat. Only thing I am sure of is that this was the same person who drew the origin panel on the backboards of the 88 toys.

I want them both sooo bad.

Got a thing for these random mini comics at the mo. Just got a 'Warriors of the Forgotten Sewer' mini comic the other day - its nuts. Story's a bit crap, but the art is by Dan Berger (uncredited - but it looks very 'Berger' to me) and is pretty great. Anyone know if there were any more of these? It just ends with "The Quest Continues", but I dunno if there were more issues, or if the kids who got the toys had to continue it themselves...

What about those minicomics that came packaged with the Ninja Turtles Cereal as prizes?

Anybody have any of those? I've always been a tad curious about them.

I really want to read those. I've only ever read one in a teacher's 'toybox' (with Mike yelling "Great oogly moogly!" toward the end), but I've never even seen the cereal advertise a free mini-comic. I suppose it happened during the time I wouldn't even think about getting the cereal anymore since I noticed it was made by a dog food company.

It was going to be continued in another mini comic to be released with the second wave of "Warriors of the Forgotten Sewer," but those other toys got canceled and so it never came out.

Cheers for the info, CJJ!

And now:

My word, that first one is BIG! I've got no idea how it got so big compared to the rest. And I dunno how to downsize. Sorry.

Thanks for all the scans: these are really great! I never knew about that 2K3 comic, I would love to buy that one. I have some mini comic doubles that came with the cereal if anyone would like to trade.

Thanks discordia! I'm gonna scan the jim lee comic realllly soon. We might as well make this one big mini comic thread eh? If anyone wants to scan the cereal comics, it'd be appreciated! Maybe a mod would change the title to 'Obscure mini-comic scans'?

I don't think this is true, where did you get this information from?
