Awww.... they sure are happy dogs. Shame you had to leave them though. Poor you, poor Chance, poor Ruffy.

Yeah, those were some nice dogs from what you told me so many times over the phone, Stormy. I really wanted to meet them and wrestle.
And it is a shame you had to leave them behind. Doesn't make me feel too good about it, no matter what you tell me.

Sorry you had to leave your dogs behind. When I moved from my mother's to my own house, I left my cat Figaro with her because we decided he was too old to adapt to moving to a new house. He's still alive, if elderly, and even now when I visit he comes up to me and really rubs against me. Before I moved out he almost always slept up against my side at night.

Oh...everyone has cute pets (^_^) Well, here's mine...even though a few people know about her already
Terror. Her real name is Kirra, but I like to call her Terror because she is a terror herself Here's another one when it was hailing at our place. Even though she looks brave, she's terrorfied of storms http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v667/Ra-Cho/Snore.jpg And a few people have seen this already

Update
Its been seven years since I started this thread! Wow! I've had many pets since then, but those I mentioned have long since passed away.
Currently I have two cockatiels - Cory and Katie. I still have rats, four sisters. Three of them were rescued animals. Hannurdock

My Pet
I have a 4 (almost 5) year old Maine Coon cat named Desi. She's a former shelter kitty (interestingly enough, she's from the shelter I now volunteer at, Save Animals Through Rescue And Adoption, a no-kill shelter).

So, this is Winter:
She's a purebred Siberian Husky and has been a part of my life for over 6 years. Over that period of time, she has developed some habits that make her unique, such as running to the front door when I ask if she wants to eat and silently howling when I raise my head to acknowledge her. She even expresses frustration by huffing. Her latest quirk is following the wife upstairs at night to lay down in the hallway, then ambling back down to look at me in the living room through the spindles on the stairs. She'll keep looking until I say, "Hi," "Hello," or say her name, at which time she trots all the way down to lay near me until I go up to bed. It's as if she's making sure I'm still alive or something. What a card.

I...lost a pet today.
She was a venerable old Red eared Slider named Gerty. Had her since I was pretty young. Remember watching monster movies with her at an early age, and her hissing at my mom... I'll post pictures when I sort out what's the most recent. She'd had an operation, but stopped eating and then just...stopped after a while. I'm sorry. I can't give you more right now. I need some time. |

my poor puppy Zdeno had to go to the vet- turns out he has a histiocytoma which is a benign tumor that is supposed to only last about two months- other than the actual bump on his back- he has no other symptoms- unfortunately there is basically nothing we can do but wait it out
