So Reigns is now a grand slam champion...eh, why not? Miz had been IC champion for what seemed like an eternity, to the point some had forgotten who he won it from (Ambrose I believe, so fitting that he goes from beating one Shield member to losing it to another)

I like Miz as Intercontinental Champion and he's pretty much destined to go down as a - if not THE - definitive IC champ, but it was about time for a break anyway. I wouldn't have gone with Reigns though, but I guess it doesn't really hurt anything. Gives him something to do for now for the lead-up to the obvious Reigns vs Lesnar match, he drops it at, like, the Rumble or something to Miz or someone else and off we go.

I actually thought Braun was going to take it off Miz for a bit there, but they pivoted him away from Miz to finish the Kane thing. Kind of amazing to me that, with the year he's had, Braun hasn't won a title yet. Especially given how high WWE clearly is on the guy.

I like how they are making the Grand Slam thing a big deal, but they never really did that when Ambrose did it first. But eh, congrats to Reigns for that.

I still believe he should've won that first in his career before the world title, but what can you do?

Pro Wrestling Sheet has learned WWE Superstar Rich Swann is currently behind bars.

According to the Alachua County Sheriff in Florida, Swann was taken into custody around 12 am on Sunday and no bond amount has been listed.

The charges listed are battery and kidnap/false imprisonment of an adult.

No further details are available at this time.

If he doesnt get fired right away then he's getting jobbed the hell out to Gulak on monday.

That's a shame about Sheamus. He's not one of my favorite wrestlers - he's a guy I probably would never have pushed past the mid card, some occasional main event title contentions aside - but he's improved a lot over the years and has his good points. One is that in competitive matches - especially ones where the opponents are known to lay in a bit - he often ends up looking like a guy who has actually been in a fight by the end.

Hope springs eternal, my man. I keep feeling like it's only a matter of time. I don't know if he'll ever be the world champion we want him to be, but I feel like he'll be back in mid card title contention at some point, especially if Sheamus has to retire in the very near future.

Like ZariusTwo, I doubt that match even happens. I won't be surprised if they call a do-over on the fatal four way Swann won with someone else subbed in after explaining Swann was suspended to the audience. Then build to Gulak vs the winner for the next week. I mean, they have plenty of time. Clash is Smackdown and Raw doesn't have a PPV on the docket before the Royal Rumble at the very end of January, so they have seven weeks to kill. Meaning the title match this is leading to was going to end up on an episode of Raw anyway.

I'm not sure who you sub in, though. I assume this coming title defense is mainly to feed another challenger to Enzo so he looks semi-credible going forward before he's destroyed by Hideo Itami or someone else.
