TMNT characters as literary figures

While reading the IDW comics I noticed a few similarities between Leatherhead and the Creature from Frankenstein.

I've also found that Michelangelo is somewhat like Prince Myshkin from The Idiot in quite a few versions in that he's clearly a gentle, compassionate person in a very harsh world. People often mistake his kindness for idiocy.

It got me thinking and I've been trying to see if there are any other characters in any TMNT media who remind you of literary figures?

Alright, could be fun, let's compare the TMNT characters to literary ones. Here's a few parallels I see:

Shredder; Count Dracula (IDW version), Captain Ahab.
Old Hob; Rambo.
Hamato Yoshi; Agamemnon.
Hun; Alex from Clockwork Orange.
Rat King; Another Dracula (though the Orlock look in IDW might contribute to that idea).

Of course, it's worth mentioning that comics are technically classified as literature, ergo they are literary characters themselves.

Leo definitely could be Prince Hector of Troy. I don't see Splinter as Agamemnon but rather King Priam. Shredder WOULD be Agamemnon though, given his jealousy over losing Tang Shen. Donatello could be Odyssius.

Not sure about the rest; I will have to think about it more.

Aren't those Ancient Greek characters more mythological than litterary?

Both. They were all major characters in the Iliad and Odessy by Homer, which are considered among the great literary works of classical Greece.
