It's very interesting to see a show whose main character can't even see himself. I have to constantly remind myself that Murdock can at best use his other heightened senses to figure out what's going on, and can't simply comprehend his surroundings visually.

Many clues in TV shows are gathered by the characters visually, like a label or writing of some kind; can a blind man be as effective at taking down a crime empire? Guess I'll see.

I love it, and I've heard nothing but overwhelming praise for the show from others. Will definitely continue.

Finished the season today after starting it last Thursday. It's fantastic.

I have watched the first two. Decent intro as The Punisher was made possible thanks to Daredevil's success. That also created a power vacuum. Matt gets seriously injured by Frank two episodes in a row making Foggy think he is dead? Matt does not need to be beaten to a bloody pulp to prove how good someone is. Looks like things are shaping up, but I do have one spoiler question for those further than me in, are there any costumed super villains that Daredevil faces?

I considered the 1st season to be the best thing Marvel has done on TV and in Movies...until I finished season 2...My goodness...I think season 2 blows away season 1. Anyone else think so? Punisher was great, Elektra was great, Foggy, Karen, and the fighting...all great...Can't wait for Season 3.

I flew through Season 2 all at once, and I'm very impressed with it.

Punisher and Elektra were spectacular, Foggy was awesome, but Karen made me want to slice someone's neck open.

However, the thing that I thought was the coolest part about the second season was how completely polar opposite the storytelling was.
Daredevil Season 1 had this amazing slow burn to it, while Season 2 hit the ground running and just kept going from there. 1 also had more focused on a singular villain, while 2 had multiple plots that all felt organic to the situation. I could go on, those are just the main two I thought of.

Honestly, this was just as good as 1 in terms of writing and quality. It all comes down to personal preference in terms of which story you liked more. Personally, I like 2 more just because I thought Punisher and Elektra stole the show, and 201-204 were some of the best episodes I've ever seen of any TV show.

Four episodes in; Punisher's been apprehended and Elektra just showed up.

One question that I would like spoiled: Do we ever focus on Karen's history and what might have happened to cause her to say "You really think you're the first man I've killed?" or whatever it was?

This season feels a lot slower to me so far... with Jessica Jones, I knew right away what the overall story was going to be. With Daredevil Season 2, I'm still not sure what the overall story is. Not bad, just different.

...

But I do prefer Jessica Jones.

Oh, and Jon as the Punisher is AMAZING.
