I think most people will just be glad to get the figures in any type of packaging.

That really depends... look a at the Clamshell releases of the Mirage turtles they did. They had the connecting street scene included, same as the box set. Yes, another boxset and those little oval versions were released without the street scene but it was made avaiable both ways.

I only assume less because of the price point that was shown.

The SDCC EXCLUSIVE set is 125+shipping. You're damn right I would be upset.

I bet I wouldnt be the only one to cancel SDCC set-just doesnt make business sense

I wouldn’t worry. These will be head knocker’s or something inferior to the SDCC set. These won’t be like the Mirage clamshell releases.

It just occurred to me that the box sets are shipping a week from today. Boy did that revelation just come crashing down on me like a ton of bricks!

Preview night is always on Wednesday, and then the full con runs Thursday through Sunday.

This guy definitely overpaid.
Way too concerned with being the only one to get the product. Reminds me of that “precious” dude from Lord of the Rings.
I mean, it’s fun to have a limited edition toy, but get a grip.

Congrats to everyone else about to receive their sets. I still prefer the look and materials used for the larger scale, but the convenience of having them smaller is quite appealing to me.

I’ll probably pick them up eventually down the line, once the value drops, they’re bootlegged, or a deal gets worked out. There’s plenty of possibility for those of you out there who haven’t gotten one yet. The more TMNT product that Neca releases, the easier it will be to get your hands on some of the currently rare material. I wouldn’t worry, just be patient.

I have a friend who managed a GameStop for many years amd he told me he was about 99% sure that the GameStop exclusives would at least be an action figure and not a head knocker and that he was also sure they'd be six inch NECA figures because of the price point.

I sold 6 or 7 individual figures for about $100 a figure to people overseas just last week. I have eight sets and four dioramas coming thus far

Considering that this is a screen shot an employee took wouldn't it be reasonable to assume that this is the stores cost not the consumers? A less than $10 markup (not including shipping) would put them right at the same price point as the con turtles. I'm thinking maybe they would be exact smaller versions of their larger counter parts; box, accessories, and all.

I won't be canceling my purchase of the con turtles for this. They aren't even due until January 2019. If they happen. and if they are the smaller Henson turtles.

Oh, Leatherhead is looking great. He's one of many figures I want in the cartoon style. Why I've had very little interest in the new movie versions. I want more original cartoon stuff.
