Looking for the TMNT #1 issue from the standard retail version of the SotP board game, NOT the one that was included for Kickstarter backers. Anyone?

No, that's the Kickstarter version.

What are the other differences between the retail game and the Kickstarter version?

If you mean the standard Kickstarter version (NOT the Works) versus the standard retail version, then a few things, one being the comic, and the April/Casey "expansions", and Eastman Studios/Mirage Rooftop scenarios. ALL Kickstarter versions, standard or Works, have the comic variant you are selling.

So the cards in the April Hero Pack were from the works, not the standard Kickstarter, correct?

No. Everyone who backed the Kickstarter, regular or Works, got the April and Casey sculpts, along with the cards. The Works backers got more stuff than that on top, such as the Eastman turtle sculpts, Bebop/Rocksteady, Splinter, the art prints, extra ally cards, and more.

So really the only people who will be buying the April expansion are those who only bought the game at retail, not through the Kickstarter.

That's why it is difficult to buy sets and break them up for re-sale and make a profit. People here and on Facebook pay waaaay below what eBay buyers will pay.
