Eh, it's not even "dark". Happy Tree Friends is darker and young children are watching that just fine. Things are changing rapidly nowadays compared to what some considers "normal".

I look forward to this sequel. I absolutely detest the first one due to the sugary sweet Candyland but this one doesn't look like it'll have that loathsome diabetic land.

I'd rather have Sugar Rush than Emoji Movie like jokes about Facebook and cat videos...but we'll see. Really hope this movie doesn't fall into that whole kind of humor ("you know what website/game/app this is so it's funny!") because the original genuinely does make me laugh.

Yeah, same. The first movie promised jokes and references for videogames and we got that for like...20 minutes. Then it becomes a candy pun-fest. **** that. Why I'm expecting the same from this movie; internet jokes in the beginning, then like...jokes about something completely unrelated in the remainder.

I hope the movie is good and not a 90+ minute ad for everything Disney owns. I really wish they went with the original sequel idea to focus on console games.

I feel sorry for the people who worked on this since so many internet focused movies have/are coming out let alone the internet/virtual reality focused anime in the last 6 years.

Maybe it's just a reference to how intertwined the internet and videogames are nowadays. Almost everyone has some sort of game on their phone, and nowadays any game that comes out without any sort of online multiplayer mode or DLC will be considered a failure.

Ready Player One is a online/virtual world one.

The horrible Emoji movie wich Wreck it Ralph 2 is already being compared to.

More anime then I care to remember.

Well luckily there isn't a lot of mainstreamed ones. But the Emoji movie is still fresh in peoples' memories and Ready Player One comes out this year.

Here is the first photo of Vanellope meeting all of the Princesses. Although Aurora, Ariel, Mulan, Tiana, and merida are not in the photo, they have been confirmed to appear.

The pic has most of them but too bad they didn't show Ariel and Mulan. Merida is also supposed to be in there as well but we have already seen her 3D model since she started that way.

All the redesigns look great except Pocahontas looks a lot younger then her 2D incarnation.

I can’t stop looking at Snow White’s hair for some reason.

It’s not the typical natural wavy hair like in the cartoon, there’s actual work done there for the curls and it looks so pretty.
