I don't know how "complex" the licensing is. My understanding is Stout vowed never to work with Mattel again, no such complications with Stan I wouldn't imagine.

I'll second that.
Would love to see them do Krang's Android body. Also kind of hoping they will do some of the rare figures that are hard to come by. Like Scratch and Hot Spot.

I'm actually betting we'll see Scratch in the next wave or soon after. It would be a smart way to get more people on board by offering a figure that's hard to come by in it's vintage form.

I don’t know. Them releasing a scratch wouldn’t make me excited like I was getting the original.
But I’m sure people would act like it for some reason. I’ve never understood the scratch obsession; besides the obvious rarity.

I really wish we'd get an Insect man (i think that's the name right??) but probably never as Insect man never had a vintage figure made.

In the very early 2000s I bought one loose for $50, and in 2011 I bought a MOC one for $400. For me, the appeal was getting the one figure I never actually saw in the store as a kid. Literally the only one I never remember seeing--and believe me, I tried and had people in multiple parts of the country looking for me.

I love the box, personally. It showcases the figure completely, and that's nice if you choose to display them MIB. I hope they can be put in and out of the box easily.

I'm relieved I will have option to display outside of box without destroying the box.
Now if only the bricks had a more og brick color instead of looking like a disco acid trip. |

Looks good to me. This will be a great line like MOTU Classics was. I hope it does all 1988-1991 at least

Looks pretty good! I just wish they'd have gone with a rectangle instead of the angular design. What they've got is certainly more attractive but storing a bunch of standard boxes is way easier. My Black series stack is much tidier than my Legends stack for this reason.

The box art looks ok to me, except those brown sticks that seem to come out from nowhere.
