I also think this place has gotten pretty sexual lately, to say the least. But to be fair, some of the threads do instigate it (i.e. Cubed's "student crushing on teacher" thread - I mean, come on. That was basically ASKING for sexual answers).

I do agree that we need to seriously keep an eye on ratings that our discussions get into. Cubed's hot teach thread got Way out of hand.

I don't know about the subforum, because we tried that in the past. But there's nothing stopping you guys from making a social group (invite only to keep out the young'un)...

EDIT: YEAH, it's definitely Messed Up. Just now for the hell of it, I tried to Quote Cubed again, to show you which post I meant to Quote, and this time I NOTICED that it automatically presented YOUR Quote in the text box instead for some reason. WTF, man, anybody know why this is happening?

I mistake him for cubed all the time. He mentioned he had a girlfriend and I was going to make a snarky comment. Then I realized it was nameless.

No, dude, seriously, just like before when I tried to Edit my own post, Something COMPLETELY different was in the text box! Totally random sh*t like that's been happening for like an hour.

I repeatedly tried quoting Cubed's post of "Aren't there like, a million other forums where you can discuss this stuff with people who actually want to talk about it?" again just now only to have nameless's post show up in my text box, until it randomly stopped happening.

Earlier, I clicked "Edit" on my own post in one of the General Discussion threads, and instead my text box said something about Leatherhead from someone else's post.

It seemed to have calmed down but I've been getting really weird errors like that ever since I got on here tonight. I had a Database Error shortly after logging on around 10pm, for about 15 minutes, and nothing's been quite right since it fixed itself.

Was definitely specifically going after Cubed for his "Take it someplace else" bit when he's the one who stirs it up the most, but feel free to think what you want.

I'll just chalk it up to whatever's causing the Errors. I probably won't directly quote anyone for a while, since I didn't even notice that the wrong Quote ended up in my text box.

Quick tip: Nameless doesn't use capitalisation. CyberCubed does. That's how I keep from getting them mixed up.

Is there any chance that there are any actual kids on this board?
I've noticed a few teens, but haven't come across any young kids. I get the sense that almost everyone is 20+.

It would be nice to have an anger room, or adults only etc, not just for topics of sexuality, but a place where stupid arguments can be moved to. I get that people are annoyed by them, and that PMing is preferred, but sometimes, as witnessed this summer, there are numerous people involved, and maybe the argument needs to go on for a bit before it can be resolved.

I feel that, in many instances, people snipe each other because the argument is moderated, and people hold grudges. It seems to happen a lot.

Maybe this is what the Volcanic Asteroid was... I don't know.
What happened to cause the shutdown?
