R.I.P. Don Rickles
https://www.usatoday.com/story/life/...-90/100127122/
The legendary insult comic Don Rickles passed away in his Hollywood home today. No cause of death was given. He recently appeared on The Tonight Show and seemed in good health. Mr. Warmth as he is known appeared on many shows as a guest through the 60s and beyond and even voicing the role of Mr. Potatohead in the Toy Story series. He was one of a kind with his gimmick going so far as to not just be a frequent Tonight Show guest no matter the host but doing his outine for fellow comedians and during the Reagan years politicians. We have lost one of the last Golden Age greats today. He was 90. Edit: His cause of death is reported to be kidney failure.

Man, at this point you might as well say anyone aged 75 or older could die at any time.

Had his own unique brand of comedy, and definitely well loved, glad he got to have 90 good years, be sure to continue making people laugh in heaven Don Rickles.

You want to lie in bed, trapped in your own body and a mental vegetable, for twenty years?
Because that's what you'll be long before 99, pallie. 75 is pushing your luck. Die while you remember who you are and don't crap in a bag, that's my strategy.

Circlejerking about Cybercubed is a terrible way to honor the memory of this legendary comedian.

The guy was an insult comic, I think he did enjoy a good circle jerk insult thread.

I watched through this playlist a little over a year ago after one of his Tonight Show appearances. Guest staring Ronald Regan, Webster, Jonny Carson and others.
Don Rickles insults the Dodgers. Also, if anyone wants to take the time I recommend watching The Andy Griffith Show episode, 'the Luck of Newton Monroe'. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x3kkk57 Edit: This is a thread meant to honor a comedic legend whom I am quite fond of. Please avoid taking Cubed bait and tags on the topic. Please remove. Thank you.

You're absolutely right, and I concede the point.
That clip of Kimmel is wonderful. I give the man major props for owning his grief that way, and for being able to perform while still in the midst of it. That's just...not something you see every day, and as sad as it is to say it, unbelievably brave. I've got a new respect for the guy. As for Rickles himself, he was one of a kind and will be missed.
