Hmmm... was kinda hoping this was closer to $40 than to $70, especially since it's Playmates. Well, I guess I have until September to make a decision. They do look cool.

Ya individually they’d only amount to like $50 so the comic is basically $20.

Yeah I'm not seeing a $20 value on a reprint of that comic...

Last time I got a pack-in comic with a Playmates box set, the comic was completely mangled on the inside of the box.

To be fair, they'd amount to $60. The figures are $15 at Target.

Oh I thought the retail was $10 or 12. I don’t live near a Target. I really want these but I’d still rather get them individually.

Unfortunately this 4 pack might be the best option for me.

Yeah...I dunno...if you wanna do sketch figures, Playmates, how about you do some of the unproduced figures instead? These two are "meh".

Leonardo seems to be the standout figure from this line so far.

I love that we're getting the first ever sketch versions of Shredder and Bebop. Talk about a deep cut, especially with Bebop. Shredder isn't terribly different than his eventual Mirage version, but this will go great with the current sketch figures.

Hope they keep pumping them out!

Check your Targets. More and more Original Sketch turtles are surfacing. The collectors that wanted these got them by now.

I was able to order all four on target.com late Weds night. As soon as I did, they all showed as 'out of stock' again so I couldn't share with anyone. If you still can't find these in stores, and if you don't want the higher-priced amazon 4pk with the comic shipping later this year, you can stalk the listings and try to score some on a future restock.

I lucked into finding all 4 of these in store last month and, honestly, this is by far the least crappy thing Playmates has produced in recent years.

I went to target today looking for random new finds. I found ONE of the first turtles. But since I have all four ordered together on target.com, passed and i'll wait for my set to ship.

Thanks for the links. I'm not holding my breath for them to go back in stock but maybe I'll get lucky. Used to be almost everything would come back eventually but that hasn't been the case at all for almost anything I've watched over the last year or so.

If you sort ninja turtles by new on BBTS, they have the white versions up sold out. Unless I completely missed these, they might go live soon.
