I saw "I Am Legend" last night. I liked it enough, but I think it's a 1-time viewing movie for me.

Just watched "The Shining" pretty weird ****, and the part with the bear suit and the old man... yea. Oh well, Nicholson movies are always enjoyable.

On I guess what would be Friday night, I started the film Magic starring Anthony Hopkins and Ann-Margret. I finished it the next night and I thought it was an interesting movie.
The next day, I watched the David Lynch film Dune. Despite the fact that the movie was a failure for the director, I thought it was pretty good. I watched Scanners yesterday and it was alright. Not Cronenberg's best, but I don't regret watching it.

I watched "Chuck and Larry" last night. I was at a party so I didn't hear some stuff, but it wasn't a very good movie. It made me laugh a little bit, but alot of it was gross and way overboard.

I just saw Underdog for the first time ever. While miles from the source material and a typical 'modern Disney' sort of film, I thought it was amusing enough. Had I never seen this movie, I'd probably never know what Patrick Warburton looks like.

Atonement. It was a very good movie. There was one shot in it that was like 8 minutes or some crazy mess like that. It was impressive, to say the least. Besides that, I can see why it's got so many nominations.

I just watched American Beauty last night. I saw it when I was like 12-13, so I didn't really follow it then, but I really liked it when I watched it last night.

The other day, I watched Death Proof and I liked it.
Considering the fact that I didn't watch it with Planet Terror, I guess I appreciated the film so much more. Watched The Warriors yesterday and I enjoyed it. Can't say I had any problems with it.

Isn't Kevin Spacey like the best in this movie? I couldn't imagine anyone else pulling off that role!

The other day, I started out with The Elephant Man. Even though it was kinda depressing, I found it interesting and I liked how David Lynch handled the movie.
Later that day, I watched The Jerk with my dad. Steve Martin was great in the movie and my dad and I enjoyed it. Yesterday I had an all horror day and started out with City of the Living Dead. It wasn't bad for my first Italian horror. After that movie, I watched a Bela Lugosi movie called Scared to Death. I paid attention for the most of the movie and thought it was all right. Finished the day off with a slasher film I recorded off IFC called Madman. It was pretty good.

The other day I watched Memento. Very good movie with a very unique twist to it. I think everything Christopher Nolan ever works on will be great, because all his movies are up there in my top movies. Can't wait for Dark Knight.
Later that night I watched War, with Jet Li and Jason Statham. I heard really bad things about it, and although it wasn't great, it wasn't awful either. The whole movie was deceiving because I thought Jet Li and Jason Statham would be fighting each other the whole movie, but it ended up being a totally boring story about a rivalry between Japanese and Chinese families. There was a twist ending which I liked, and it made the movie somewhat entertaining. Last night I watched The Big Lebowski. It was very funny, I loved the characters in it, especially Jon Goodman's character. |
