Anybody getting their McDonald's Schezwan sauce today? It's one day only.

Yeah, I tried. Very few stores had them and the ones that did had a grand total of 20 packets. Dine-in only, no drive thru. And people were camped out.

I went to one in my area that the website said would have some.
It didn’t. All they had were one of each poster and by the time I got there they had already given them out. McDonald’s REALLY screwed this one up. Hopefully they’ll try again with better quantities and better distribution, because there are bound to be hundreds of disappointed fans who really want to try the sauce. |

Are people's lives really this involved in a silly little packet of McDonald's sauce?
Because it turned into a meme? Heck, if it means this much to people, bootleg it. Bottle your own.

Kinda proves that Rick and Morty fans don't understand Rick and Morty. The whole point of the joke is that everything is meaningless and yet there they are putting tons of meaning into ****ing sauce.

I had a feeling in my gut that the "one day only" limited offer was a bad idea...and boy did it ever turn up as a bad idea.

It's too bad, really.
I heard McDonalds was giving away cassette tapes of "Get Schwifty" and "Head Bent Over" with every purchase of Mulan Schezwan Sauce...

I avoided this series like the plague because a lot (most?) of its fans are super annoying, & I was put off by the art style. I caught a few minutes of two different episodes on TV in the last few weeks & they seemed interesting, so I decided to give it a real chance. Ended up watching all 3 seasons in 2 days time, really hooked me. Makes sense, I guess, it's my kinda sci-fi; parallel dimensions, time-hopping, existential horror, etc. paired with a cynical/nihilistic tone. I found a chunk of the humor to be too crass for my personal tastes (I love gross/offensive/gory stuff but not necessarily just for the sake of it, depends) but otherwise it had me laughing out loud quite a bit. I really appreciate that despite how crude it can be, it has its share of poignancy, depth, thought provocation, & character development. Great voice cast as well, I was pleasantly surprised to see so many vets in there, like The Animaniacs trio, LaMarche, Strong, Richardson, etc as well as a host of great guests. Rick & Morty themselves can be a bit grating at times but their respective actors definitely deliver all the same.
Season 1 had the strongest material, no question. The other two focused more on gags, whereas its debut had a greater emphasis on the "science" & "philosophy". I think I liked season 3 more than 2, though they were more or less on par with one another. I'll definitely be watching in real time when there's new stuff.

Probably seems like embarrassed backpedaling but I did actually know that (even before I watched the behind the scenes mini-doc). Grammatical flub, for lack of better phrasing. There's no way to mistake them for two different people 'cause no matter who he's voicing I just hear shades of Lemongrab (who Justin voiced on Adventure Time).

Oh wow that was Roiland? I never knew. I should catch up on Adventure Time when the next season is sone. I could always hear SpongeBob in the Ice King though, not that that's a bad thing; I have many fond memories of watching SpongeBob as a kid.

It really was. It's strange how endearing they've made a character named "Mr. Poopybutthole"
I wonder if they'll do any other short little specials like this before Season 4
