Tmnt meeting My Little Pony?

Yeah, Yeah, I know Im putting my reputation on the plank by even suggesting this but this is Just a fun little thought I had and I wanna hear your opinions. Would you like to see any of the turtles ever meet My Little Pony? In this case, it can be any tmnt incarnation meeting the mane six from the Friendship is Magic show.

I could see Fred Wolf tmnt, half shell heroes, one of the SDCC shorts or some of the more lighthearted versions meeting the mane six in a team up against Shredder or some one off mlp villain like Lord Tirek or Queen Chrysalis. The new rise show even sounds similar to the new mlp show in that its flash animated and is going for a lighthearted feel, so maybe it could one day have a crossover.

I like MLP well enough, but mixing TMNT with them just creates a bit of dissonance for me. The Turtles are people to me. The ponies are, well... largely just talking horse-like beings. Mostly it's an issue that the Turtles are some steps closer to us on the 'anthropomorphism scale' than the ponies are and makes it a little weird.

Going by Tv Tropes definitions I guess the Turtles fit best into the "Petting Zoo People" category. As for MLP, I'm kind of torn between if they are "Civilized Animal" or further back as maybe more suitably "Partly Civilized" because they do at times behave like ponies; such as freaking out and kicking up their back legs or trying to buck someone/something off, rather than just grabbing and throwing someone off. Although the original MLP is included in the examples further back in "Talking Animal," and they lived in houses, etc., too... but arguably they're a bit more pony-like than the current iteration.

It's like if Disney's Pluto learned to talk like a human - say, better than Scooby-Doo - but otherwise stayed a dog while the rest are still people, but is expected to be regarded as a person as well. Nobody regards Scooby as a person, just a talking pet. What the heck would the Turtles regard MLP as? lol (Nick Mikey would undoubtedly want to keep one...)

Again, I'm not sure what revenge cycle stories in a science-fantasy world would have in common with slice of life in a cutsey fantasy world.

I mean really, is the Rat King gonna be taught it's better to nurse someone back to health rather urge them to eat rats for survival?

I guess most people here don't like the idea but thats ok. Im just happy to hear what everybody thinks, regardless of what the opinion is.

Wow, quite a few jerks in this forum. I don't understand why people can't simply dislike something and not be rude about it. I know it won't be everyone's cup of tea, but being rude doesn't help.

I don't have a problem with it at all. I can see the tmnt acting like this towards the ponies

I love the drawings as well. I always liked crossovers. The 80s turtles would probably work best, but I can see them with the 2012 turtles. Maybe even the 2003 Turtles. Probably not the mirage turtles though.

As often as I've seen the Turtles turned into ponies, I wouldn't mind seeing the ponies given a gritty Mirage art style.

You should make your own thread. Seeing more of other people's art is always a treat and I'd love to see more of yours.
