Those photos on their site look super odd kids are not playing with the new "Heroes" figures especially not with those odd faces.

The gold repaint Playmates basic Shredder figure just released over the summer is called "Brutal Shredder". The repaints all got new names like that. So because the Mega Construx figure is also gold, people are calling him the same.

That sucks but isn't that surprising. Retailers couldn't sell the stuff without deep discounts or clearance and didn't want to order new product.

Just to be clear....the Nickelodeon stuff is still up on their site. It is the classic collection and half shell heroes collection that have come down. Mirage is also still up, for what it's worth.

If you check the Mega Construx site, the '87 line has been bundled into the Mirage tab, so there's still hope.
