I've always wanted a figure of mutated Jon from The Last of the Viking Heroes. Maybe this series will yield some parts that will make a decent kitbash of Jon.
Also curious to see what they do with Casey and Shredder. I made a MOTU based Foot Clan a few years ago I think turned out alright. |

Hopefully, Playmates will reissue the 11 inch Krang’s Android Body because of this deal.

Wow those look like a lot more fun than they have any right to be. Definitely picking them up...

I think Mutated He-man & Mouser Trapjaw look the best. I kind of think the turtles are lacking a little something extra. I also like that the Helmet on Man-at-arms is shaped like the Shredders. Did anyone else notice that?

They look cool to be sure but are exactly the sort of thing I would regret buying after the 90 day return period ends.

The figures will come with brand new crossover mini-comics, with art by Freddie E. Williams II. (Artist behind the Batman/TMNT trilogy as well as that proposed He-Man/TMNT comic pitch that surfaced a while back.)

I don't know what I was hoping these would look like but this isn't it somehow. I can't put my finger on what exactly isn't working for me but I'm oddly "meh" on them. I think I was hoping they'd be more OG Playmates or OG MOTU. Instead they're a weird blend that doesn't really homage either line all that well.
Having said that, given the opportunity I'll likely grab the turtles and Man-at-Arms. Aaaand probably Krang. Trap-Jaw is extremely clever but he doesn't look right at all with all that white. He-Man is just confusing, I don't understand the concept there. |

Not sure why the current trend is "mashup" instead of just doing Turtles on MOTU O sculpt styles.
You know? |
