String of suspicious packages addressed to prominent Democrats and CNN - Page 2

It is pretty strange how none went off, indeed... but wouldn't something like this be very hard to cover up? That's quite a risk they're running. But I guess politicians are capable of everything. I mean, we're talking about people who lie a lot, including on their resume. So many times politicians in Europe have been caught lying about having a bachelors degree or a masters...

If this is a phony bomb situation.....Have the networks interviewed the 'hero' that carried the bomb away, yet? have they shown images of said bomb? Will they stick with the story until a resolution, one way or another, is found? or will it quietly be forgotten about?

this could all be a VERY bold sympathy ploy.

was listening to the morning radio news updates... apparently one of the news networks is looking into the fact that these where really 'fake' bombs made to look real.

people's own over emotional reactions are being weaponized against them for short term gain.

So none have gone off, thank god. But until the authorities are able to really get a good enough look at them and decide I don't know why people just want to jump to assuming the whole thing is fake and staged.

Would those people also assume that a terrorist who decides not to participate in an attack or was held up and missed the boat, er, plane, is somehow not a terrorist after all? Intent still matters.

People have made fakes before, I think(?), but these are an awful lot of work just to cause a scare... Why would you even put shrapnel in them if people are just supposed to panic upon seeing a fake bomb? Possible I suppose that someone is just that crazy to go all out. Or maybe people have just been lucky and/or they were meant to go off but the person failed at the last step in bomb making... I imagine it isn't easy for most people to actually test one to see if they built it right.

That said, the two meant for Biden were at separate post offices in my area. Fantastic.

At least neither were ones I use nor the one I visit once a month for my job. Was supposed to visit that one this week, but it got moved to last week... kinda glad.

I just heard that the bombs look like they didn't have the requisite pieces to EVER go off. That they were only designed to LOOK like they were going to go off.

This is a stunt. I won't say it's a libtard stunt, but it's damn weird.

The timing, TWO WEEKS, before midterms is another weird happenstance.

Also, where was this level of outrage back when Ricin (sp?) was delivered to prominent Republican leaders/family members.

Provided this theory is true, which... does make a lot of sense.

Even if it were "true", and he is found to be a "left-wing nut-job", as some speculate, WHO do you REALLY think could have put him/her/them up to it? If it was an individual doing it completely alone, they clearly didn't think through the repercussions of getting caught for their "side", and if they were under outside influence, well.... Only ONE side would ultimately benefit from that. The one who egged the stooge into a "false sympathy" ploy in the FIRST place!
