Apparantly, in the initial voice recording for "Time Travails", the actors pronounced it as "Rene'". When Pete heard about that he made them rerecord the lines so that the name was pronounced "ReneT", as he claimed that was the original intended pronounciation.

Man how dumb, even when it's spelled Renet you say it as Rene.
I have never ever heard anyone say it as Renet with the T spoken at the end, it's always silent. |

Exactly. This is another issue where there is disagreement between what Kevin says and what Peter says.

Speaking of Renet, I wonder why she never showed up in the cartoon series. I think she would have been a pretty good fit, considering how ditzy she is. |

I'm guessing you mean the old toon series? You know I've been thinking about that, I think had the series gone on perhaps she and Savanti both may have shown up. During Red Sky Titanus gets sent back to the prehistoric past I could totally see him meeting Savanti there and them some how joining forces and causin havok all over the place. |

Ok firstly that sounds like something else, like real dirty.
Secondly never..thats an emberassment to tmnt fans, and I think a certain some one bases their dressed up persona after thar horrid concert and it makes me hate it all the more. I don't even know how anyone could like Come out of their shells and hate one the next mutation or Fast Forward or the old toon for that matter. |

But now it's only my little guilty pleasure.. it's not something I would bring up when discussing Ninja Turtles with people. Especially on national television. Hell, I was on national television with my TMNT collection back in 1996 and I didn't even bring it up then.

I guess I appreciate COOTS (took me a while to get what that meant) as a really cheesy show. I like it in the "so bad it's good" way. I don't think I've ever seen an episode of Next Mutation, but I don't like the idea of a 5th turtle, because IMO it was a blatant attempt at making the turtles fit the Power Rangers mold by adding a token girl. |

Is there a possibility that somewhere or someone would sell the original set of the turtle comics in great condition?

I've always pronounced it "Renet" mentally. Glad to see that was the proper pronuniciation -- it's quirky, different, and suits her.

No. The prequel comics were colorized exclusively for the UK TMNT Comic Magazine.

Raph: Issues #1-3 Mike: Issues #4-5 Don: Issues #6-7 Leo: Issues #8-11 It doesn't seem like they have plans to print the April book. The next story on tap is Tales of the TMNT #38.
