I don't know that we'll ever see a Turtle van. But right now it was just a goofy line, not to be taken too seriously. But could be Tom has something in mind.

The decked-out turtle van never excited me too much.
Keep it grungy and low tech with clever little touches by Donatello, or go all out and give them a flying car from the Neutrino's. There's just something wonderful about ninja turtles in a flying car.

Thats my two cents. Anyway, don't let me derail the thread.

Oh thank god, or I guess you. Such a thing would not work outside of cartoons.

I have faith IDW is creative enough to make 'their version' of the van not only work, but fit in very well.

A good number of us believed it would be coming soon. Not a Turtle Van per se, but a Stealth Wagon. TurtleWA is right in that IDW can make anything work including the turtle van or whatever vehicle thst your ream decided upon.

Turtle Van is an alright name but definitely not Party Wagon like the toy.

Bobby, is Issue #75 going to be double-length like #50 was? Or the usual?

This has certainly been true of everything we've had so far from IDW. They just have a way of reinterpreting characters and concepts that keeps the core of the original idea but makes it work for this series and a modern audience.

And on that note, Bobby I have to ask, have you guys ever considered trying to rework (or redeem) any of the characters from The Next Mutation? I think IDW could make a character like Dragon Lord into a fantastic villain if you wanted.

I personally have never seen Next Mutation, so i'm just generally ignorant there. As such, it's never something that's crossed my mind.

Hooo, from the covers Kevin Eastman shared, 75 has signs of being a helluva ride. Looking forward to it even more.

With the inclusion of both Jagwar and Dreadmon in IDW recently, was there a conscience decision to include all the rest of the Archie Mutanimals who hadn't appeared in IDW yet, or did it just come randomly? They were the last two who weren't in the series until now, besides Wingnut/Screwloose who only had a small brief role in IDW so far.

Maybe subconsciously, but not really. The Dreadmon story was pitched independently of the Pantheon story arc, so him and Jagwar appearing not too far from each other is largely random.

Or is it??

Since Kevin Eastman likes Venus, do you think that she'll eventually appear in the comics? Sorry if this was asked already.

I'm all for Venus, she really deserves a worthy version to remove the bad taste Next Mutation left on the fandom, she's an interesting character on the right hands, and if someone can give her justice is you guys so if you think she has potencial then by all means go all in.
