Aside from Nala's new song what does this add?
It adds next to nothing, and is the absolute worst of all the remakes in my opinion.

The Real Live Action Lion King that everyone should see is the broadway musical.

By the way, what is the single real shot?

Shredder could've done more than blow up the Channel Six building. I don't mean as far as murdering Splinter, but think of the possibilities if censors were not an issue.

Shredder and Krang combined had the biggest arsenal of any villains in all of the cartoons.

I saw it again last night and it's still not a bad film, but since I was seeing it in 2D I wasn't quite as blown away by the visuals. I was also smart last time to take a bathroom break during the scene where the piece of Simba's mane travels all the way back to Rafiki. Not only isn't unnecessarily too long, but

Spoiler:
I didn't know last time that it was eaten by a giraffe and then ended up in a ball of poop before being picked up again by the sandstorm. That really didn't need to be included.

It was this.

Yep, the 1st shot was the only thing that was real in a LIVE ACTION movie.

Where the hell have you been? They probably thought the live action Aladdin was amazing too even though that's been one of the worst live action Disney remakes so far.

Its great to see it doing really well. Here's hoping for a remake of Simba's Pride. Bring on Kiara and Kovu.

Maybe Kion will factor in for the sequel.

Shills for the lame-ass sequels, I bet you'll climax at Lion King 1/3 too

I personally loved The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride and the Timon & Pumbaa movie for what they are, but I hope that they don't get remade as well.

But if they do (and they probably will be), you can expect that they will be Box Office hits, continuing to encourage Disney to make these terrible films.

I don't know if they will exactly remake those two movies. But I could see Disney grabbing the characters from those movies. and putting them in a sequel in some way. Disney could even get the characters from the Lion Guard. Since the show establishes that Simba had a 2nd Cub.

Yeah, that immediately struck out to me watching the movie. How could something that simple get screwed up? Then again, I would ask the same about the pseudo-"Be Prepared" that cut out half the song and meddled with the tempo of the remainder.

The lack of facial expressions on the animals really took me out of it. It just came across as bad voice over from a nature documentary.

The lack of Nathan Lane hurt a lot, too.
