My guess is it was a rights issue with the NYP. I'm sure someone will print out a few copies on an inkjet and sell them.

Funny enough, the ripped fabric is present in the proto shots.

I actually thought about that. I'd hate to totally screw it up though. Maybe take some dye and gradually dye it.

so NECA only wants to send me a replacement box instead of a new figure. im just gonna order from BBTS and ill post this one in the BST section at a later date, if anyone is interested

Because i dont want an opened box. Im an MIB collector

On another note NECA wont communicate with me anymore. All they did was approve my return and sent me a return postage label. I asked if they were gonna exchange the figure or refund the purchase no reply

Wonder if Donny reissue will have spots on his face?
Anyone have any info on spot face Don vs non-spot face Don?
Is there a chance for non-spot to be rare?

So the rerelease will have spots and is more screen accurate?

I'd guess non spot. That seemed to be an adjustment after people complained.

I bought 2 off NECA eBay when they first came out, and one had spots on th face, and the other didn’t. I’m not sure which one is more common, but I assumed spots since I believe the other turtles have spots.
Also the reissue is referring to I’d the Neca reissue announcement

Man ... I reposed these guys last night before bed and sometimes they can be such a hassle to get in certain poses. Maybe I'm not doing the pegs as right, but I feel like particular movements getting them a certain way can make their hands pop right off ... Donatello especially.

Still love these things and it's overall not THAT bad, but I constantly find myself wanting to move the figures around into new dynamic poses and next thing I know a half hour has flown by! Maybe I'm too particular.
