What exactly is going on with TMNT? Where it is now, the future, etc?

So, I've sort of been "taking a break" from TMNT ever since they ended the 2012 show, which I loved, and Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles looks awful to me, so I haven't watched it. Yes, it is possible that if I watched it, I would like it, but, I dunno. I still need to watch Batman vs TMNT. But other than that, I haven't really been keeping up with TMNT for the past couple years since the 2012 show ended. So, what exactly is going with it, if anything? All I've been hearing is rumors that Rise is cancelled, a new Netflix animated movie is coming out, and that a new live-action movie reboot is in the works. Anything else, or is that it?

The IDW comic is still going and Rise is confirmed to end with its second season. They'll most likely be a bit of a break before they try launch another cartoon and that's a smart decision, I think they know releasing Rise so close to the end of the 2012 series was a mistake and won't do that again.
