Good to know that Playmates has confirmed most of the listings. Hopefully that'll mean they'll all make it to retail. I'm really curious to see what these "Splinter 2" and "Shredder 2" figures will be. I'm not sure if I should continue trying to get a wave one Splinter or not....I guess I could always give it to my nephew if the second version is that much better. Not sure what I would do with wave one Shredder if the new one was a big enough of an improvement (nephew already has one).

Can't wait to see at least some of this stuff in pictures from Toy Fair.

I'm going to guess you mean the mini turtles when listing the ooze as "figures". Anyways, there's also the first set of Turtle variants coming out alongside the two new baddy figures. There's also the flingers figures, but I'm guessing you only mean the Basic figures...

Yes he talked about this character in his 1-on-1 interview on Talkin Toons #060 a while back. It is a mutant Newt and based off an original character he created when he was 12yo. Supposedly he is buff, has a tail (of course), "predator meets the punisher version of a salamander" is how Ciro described him. Can't wait to see what it looks like!

Would rather see the return of the mutants from the original toon or Archie.

Actually sounds like he could be an interesting character. The "predator meets punisher" description sounds good to me, and has me thinking he'll be an antagonist to at least some degree. Googleing images of newt's has me wondering what color he'll end-up being.

Well depending on what the final toys look like, I think I'm going to have to get the Mouser pack, Leatherhead and Rat King (I can't wait to see how he is in the cartoon)

As neat as it is (i love the ghostbusters vibe) I don't get why they are using ooze as a weapon? It seems to me that anything it touches it mutates. How is it a weapon of any value?
