Original MOC 1991 Movie Star Turtles

Hey everybody,

I recently picked up Leo, Mikey and Donnie from a used video game store for 25 a piece. MOC great shape.

I've always wanted these but was told they were rare and sold for a lot.

Did I get a great deal or did the demand for these go down?

Yeah that’s a great price! I would’ve done the same and picked those up too ... no Raphael I take it huh? That would’ve killed me since that was my favorite Raphael toy as a kid and I’ve still been wanting a MOC of that again at a decent price.

The movie star figures are from 1992. They were made in ‘91.

Cheapest carded Movie Star Raph on eBay currently is $79.99 US + shipping. For me in Canadian dollars that would be $99.75 + shipping and import fees so $90 would be a blessing. Even loose and complete they are pricey it seems.

Found a loose and complete Leo that was $40 US but with the shipping and import fees would be almost $80 which is still a lot for a loose figure.

You can get them carded for around $50 a piece now.
