A couple new things!
Our man Dan Berger has delivered unto us some GREAT news concerning the next TMNT videogame from Konami. Apparently he has recieved a video that shows more detailed models and much more fluid animations! Not only that but the next game WILL be FOUR PLAYER! Konami has listened to the fans and we've got what we asked for! The title has a release date of October 22nd 04, subject to change of course.
A rumor killer from him as well. There is currently no TMNT movie in the works. Although that doesn't mean they aren't trying! |

That's wicked! 4 player will be crazy. Hopefully it is not an upset. Maybe some updated cut scenes like you said better smoother animations. And more levels and more of a roam around helping people based game would be cool. And maybe a stealth aspect where you have to keep to the shadows and that. That would be awesome game!

I was really surprised and excited to find this in my e-mail. Hopefully, we'll get some screens and/or videos, seeing as how E3's this week...

About friggin time! Why Konami DIDN'T do this in the first one is one of the biggest questions of my life.
Now they just need to make the random punks a little bit harder, better level design, and for the sake of all that's holy put in some more phrases, or cut them out completly. And make the game a little shorter, and more addictive. Like the old games. |

wouldn't it be a problem to do that though since Murakami Wolf Swensen did the show the arcade game was based on?

THE NEW TMNT GAME
I have seen the pics for the new TMNT game from the E3 and it is amazing. It is four players and has that same look as the last one. It's got the Tricetons in it too.

*bounces up and down*
That's awesome news! However, I'm sorry to hear that a fourth movie isn't in the works... yet. I'm confident that we'll see the TMNT on the big screen again sooner or later. By the by, has anyone seen screen shots of the new TMNT game online? I'd love to see a few preview pics... EDIT: Nevermind. Seems like our friendly neighborhood snapper, tOkKa found some. http://www.thetechnodrome.com/forums...=308172#308172

So, what system would the game be for? X-Box? Game Cube? PlayStation?

I'm assuming all of them, just like the first one was.

I am deffinatly getting it for Game boy advance because I have an awsome library of games for that. But I am hesitant in getting it for Gamecube mainly because I dislike the first game because of its annoying sound effects and it's annoying saving points and Its psyco turtlebot!

I'm really excited at the prospect of more button combos for each turtle. The weak-weak-weak-strong universal combo from the last game quickly got old.
Also, it'd be awesome if Konami refrained from doing any inhouse animation for some of the cutscenes. I'd rather see direct clips from the television show. They're far less goofy, and the framerate is nicer. Quote:
