For what it is the prices aren't that bad considering for what it is and since it's a limited collectible item. It's a good looking figure but I would much rather have figures of this version of the turtles:

Ordered mine! I went with the B&W standard version. The price is a little steep but no where near as high as that Lil' Mikey figure they did last year. I'm pretty sure Mondo takes money upfront for this because it's probably helping fund the production, the fact that it's a pre-order for a product we won't get for 6+ months. I have no real idea on why they take the money upfront but that's my thought. Also is $15 standard for shipping on something like this? Mondo over charges for their poster shipping so I'm curious if they are gouging us here too.

Just my two cents, but I saw this in person last summer at SDCC and it looks fantastic.
They also indicated that they are producing only as many as are preordered, which is probably the reason that we need to pay upfront. I'll definitely get the B&W version and will probably get the red and green version, too. No interest in the orange and green, frankly. |

Hmmmm.... Which to get.
Just for kicks on shipping I wanted to see if the $15 was their flat rate or if it got recalculated as you order more. I added all 4 to my shopping cart and couldn't believe the total came to $60 just for shipping. They're just charging $15 each which is obscene. No combined shipping? They suck

Going to wait to the end of the month to preorder one…. which one? I have no idea. I like them all but might have to go with the red bandana colored version but the B&W is just like the drawing.

It sounds to me that means....we are too lazy to calculate shipping and bundle items...it is much easier to just ship each figure for $15 and skim some profit off the top of that

Could be worse, the shipping on the deluxe model to the UK was $37. If that thing ain't shipping Global Priority with insurance, I'll be a bit annoyed
