Scales are universal, and not company specific. Making a Shredder in 1/7th scale makes little sense, that's such a niche scale that near only Square Enix uses (and they at least have a big license to make varied figures for), or sexy anime girl statues.

I wouldn't mind his head being a bit undersized, it's either that or have a huge ass helmet if you're gonna do a removable helmet figure.

Well put. I think the majority of figure collectors have a preferred scale. I prefer 6-inch scale or 7-inch scale, and almost never would I consider buying ANY figure in another scale. Even if that character was only available in another scale. I'd rather wait for a 6-inch or 7-inch version or go without.

Shame this had so much potential. There was great feedback on this thread, but they didn't fix any of the problems. I want a Shredder figure, but not one this goofy.

I'd rather they have swappable heads.
And if the heads the right size, the helmet will be the right size.

Here even the helmet looks small.

I agree, extra heads is the better solution.

It depends a lot on the figure and the head sculpt. This Shredder does have a very slick hairstyle, so yeah he could easily have had a bigger head without the helmet being too big looking.

Although, the smaller head completely fits that Shredder is a 10 foot tall giant, his head is normal, the body is just big

Don't bother with this shredder. Dream Ex made a much better one

Given the size and stylistic differences, isn't that comparing apples to oranges? This one is 9.5 inches tall with a anime or fantasy feel to it. The dream ex one is 12 inches tall with a more realistic feel to it.

Not intending to argue with you at all--- just expressing my thoughts and impressions of the 2 figures. Depending on what Figures announces at SDCC, dream ex and first gokin Shredders may both have a place in my collection.

Is this still being made or has it been cancelled due to the new Dream EX line?

What does that mean? I haven't seen any in "in hand" photos or video reviews so it's not a soft release.
