I'm aware of that, Andrew. But obviously there's a good chance this will be the last "real" turtles tale, which in a sense makes it the overall closing.

It's just some little project Andrew and I did a decade ago.

Andrew, are you thinking of releasing physical copies of this or digital? I'm ready to pay right now.

Wayyy too early to even say one way or the other. And I don't want to rule out an official release if there's interest.

Perhaps this has a better chance of IDW publishing it since its not based on other writers work like the Image finisher was.
Jim Lawson is such a great guy. Nice to see him agree to be part of this when he didn't have to. My only gripe is this opens the door for endless "fan made" comics trying to be set into Mirage continuity. While these are high quality productions at this point it feels like anyone can make one of these now with som authenticity. |

I'm massively excited about that book. Also, Cuddly the Cowlick. It's gonna be epic.

I seriously doubt Andrew's story is going to lead to a hailstorm of every fan fiction ever written being made into comic books officially published by IDW and/or Mirage. Besides, Andrew doesn't even know yet what he wants to do with this project. He's already produced two unofficial comics, so maybe this time around he'd like to present it as a YouTube video or something. It's really up to him and he'll let us know his decision when the time is right.

That's not entirely what he meant. He meant that people may go the Image conclusion route and have a small run of their fan stories that are set in the MIrage universe printed as comics, not that IDW will pick up anyone's fan fiction.

As a fan fiction writer myself I have to admit the idea of having my stories made into comic books (whether they be published by Mirage, IDW or whoever) intrigues me, though the tales I write are usually a lot more family friendly.

Jesus Christ you are negative. Someone else might make something you really like, you never know. And if it sucks... don't read it.
