"Once Upon a Time in Hollywood"

Saw it this past weekend. Go and see it! It's badass... the 3rd act is pretty insane. Perfect examples of setup and execution throughout the movie. Also really refreshing to see a thing completely devoid of any agenda beyond telling a really good story with a couple of really great characters.

Jeeze, I don't know. It's more focused than anything else he's done, I think. It's more of a "movie" movie than anything else he's done, I think.

I saw it over the weekend. Like Yesterday it presented an alternative history which was the main selling point for me. Sharon survives, Polanski never statutory rapes, and his child with Tate is born while his kids in Poland are never born. All because the hippie 's got a little too high
Also, did Brad Pitt's character kill his late wife? Over the top, layered, interesting. I liked it,but I did not love it.

The way it's presented, "maybe" but leaning toward yes. But maybe not.

Likely a high and flamethrower. Opps.

The best part was the Bruce Lee fight. I wonder if Linda, Lee's widow approved of that.

His daughter is pretty pissed about it, actually.

Yeah, and she's taking it to a whole other level. That Tarantino is anti-Asian, etc..

So basically even if the movie is agenda-free, people still try to find some way to push some sort of agenda.

The guy who made Kill Bill is "anti-Asian"...how some of those idiots are functioning day by day without breaking their faces in impotent rage?

I saw it and really liked it. It's a great story with incredible acting. The ending is very bittersweet.

I mean, I get the daughter thing. That's Dad to her. It's everyone else who finds this similarly "problematic" that is the issue.

I can understand daughter, but snowflakes outraged on someone else's behalf can jump into sun.

saw the movie, liked it. Some things I didn't care for, even had a bit of the inconsistent tone with the Narrator and the usage of Flashbacks.

It's refreshing, isn't it? I mean if he really wanted to, Tarantino could chop out 30 minutes of driving around... but why do that?

Why indeed. That's the beauty of Tarantino movies.

I guess the expanded stuff is just some fake commercials in the beginning and at the end. Meh. I'll wait until the final form of whatever expanded version of this ends up on blu-ray or Netflix.
