Hey, what happened to Pigeon Pete? Did they forget about him?

They explained Sally's absence, and Mutagen Man/Lindsey stayed at the lab, but Pigeon Pete was completely absent. Am I remembering wrong or wasn't Pete shown in the previous issue? I know he's an incompetent goofball, but he wasn't even acknowledged.

"We don't talk about Pigeon Pete"

He also was looking down the barrel of a gun in the last issue, so maybe they made him sit this one out. Just stocked the fridge with blueberry sodas and hoped that would be enough to leave him to his own devices. Which are a thing!

Remember that gun he was looking straight down the barrel of? Yeeeah...

Anyway, my basic theory on what Bishop is:

So you know how he bleeds and sweats? Anybody watched Terminator? The Arnold model of Terminator had skin and flesh, more than enough to fool anyone, even a machine designed to only send living tissue through time. So what I propose is that Bishop has human a robotic skeleton (and probably other synthetic organs) but it's all draped in human fleshy bits. Think a more subtle Victor Stone or more advanced Wolverine.

So the first name of Bishop sir is Wayne, of Bishop junior is Jonathan W.

As far as I see it is John Wayne Bishop.

Like the 1933 film Somewhere in Sonora, where John Wayne plays John Bishop!

Nice bit of trivia! And good thing his last name isn't Gacy, though he would certainly live up to that one...

Given the age of the nerds who write this, I'm really not surprised they'd slip that in so sneakily

Anyway, I gotta gush about Ch'rell for a moment.

Mostly about that scar looking more natural and less like a tattoo, while still retaining the purple-ish tone.

Maybe it's because the skintone isn't nearly as bright as the 2003 show, but it just looks better. Has that extra layer "What in the world happened???"
Not going to be anything like Saki getting swiped in the face with a sword by assassins, it's going to be nasty.

Well...yeah, sword to the face is still pretty ugly, but I think we're looking at a burn or worse. The kind of horrific injury that changes a man.

So now I can stop coloring it red when I draw him, which is what I've been doing while I wasn't entirely sure what they would do. I also like that, at least by this design, it's just one long band instead of pronged ridiculousness...also much easier to draw, especially amid the fact that Ch'rell is a spiky fellow.

Seems like Bishop is a head in a utrom robot. To save him they connected him to an utrom robot when he was a baby and then cut the head from his baby body and put it on the Utrom robot. Just like stockman did in the City at war 2003 series when he had his head put on the utrom robot. That explains why his body is full of metal. He is not human. Just a human head on a utrom robot body.

I don't think so bc when Raph threw his sai and struck him blood came out of his torso. I am leaning towards cyborg. Basically I believe he is some sort of hybrid.

Probably went through a lot of cybernetic grafts and operations growing up; as his human body grew and developed, cybernetic stuff had to be upgraded and replaced.

A real patchwork Frankenstein's monster kind of a guy.

On the one hand I agree...on the other, I have an itching feeling that the situation might end up way, way worse.

Either way, I wouldn't blame Marie if she divorces Wayne real hard at some point down the line.

I monster was a Bishop clone not Bishop himself. But the 2003 Bishop wasnt normal human either. He was creating clone human bodies and he was puting his mind inside them . But stupid Stockman decided to put alien dna on his clone body that why it got destroyed while Bishop's clone bodies didnt have any issues.

I wasn't too huge on the pantheon arc or the rather quick ending from the triceraton war arc but man this bishop/ultrom stuff is really kicking ass.

God knows how many times I've had to stop myself from doing it! Don't be surprised if one slips into my posts one of these days.
