The dislike for coffee is perhaps the single most disturbing thing I've ever read on The Technodrome Forums.
Wait, there are furries on here. Never mind, mates, you guys are still on the level. Keep calm and carry on! I didn't like coffee until my wife introduced me to the really good stuff, so I see where you're all coming from. Bad coffee is like Satan's armpit sweat.

No, no, no, you've got it all wrong. If it's a turtle fetish, they're scaleys.

And non-coffee people are fine as long as they're not MORNING people. Morning people get shanked in my house for being too loud too early. And I'm being 100% serious on that. You wake me up, I put you down.

I don't think I've ever drunk coffee in my life. I drink tea but rarely, never coffee.

I'm up at 5am every day, but not of my own volition.

On days where I don't have to wake up, like the weekend, I can barely get myself up before 12:30pm. I feel like I catch up on all the sleep I miss during the week.
Unfortunately I also dislike that because I feel like I "waste my day" when I wake up that late, but I can't help it. Says a lot that I feel awful waking up late. |

I agree. I'm usually up at 4:30 AM, sometimes 5:30 or as early as 3:30 to get ready for work, but not by choice! As for furries/scaleys, I don't consider myself one, though I might be borderline where Mikey is concerned. I'd happily kidnap that boy and drag him off to nights of endless paradise, LOL! Er, is that weird? Quote:
Never?! Not even lattes or Frappecino? I don't do STRAIGHT coffee, but I'll occasionally drink it with some cream and sugar, or mocha frappe style. Those are like the ONLY things at work I'm addicted to besides the strawberry crème pies. But I can't do more than a small without everyone around me wanting to strangle me for bouncing off the walls, LOL! I feel your pain. Quote:
You and me should hang sometime. At a coffee shop. Over mochas and a couple of good comics.

I consult at a public school that's almost two hours away from my house so Mon-Fri I am up ass-early. I'm only doing it for a year so no biggie, but getting up early has its upsides: I get to pick from every breakfast menu, I barely have to deal with people in my space, and I get to watch the sun rise driving across Ocean Parkway by Jones beach every day. The hamptons can eat their heart out. |

I hate to say it but the smell really kills it for me. I do not like the smell of coffee in the morning. Coffee-scented candles and stuff make me so sick. Ugh. I have the same thing with peanut butter. I've also got a hang-up: I don't like to drink opaque things. My general rule is if I can't see through it, its not going inside me. I have a lot of weird drinking problems. None of which fit the traditional mold of 'drinking problem'. |

I was actually gonna say this in the horror discussion thread, but I get turned on by nude scenes in slasher movies.

^^ Cool I guess? I'm sure that's why they're there.
I'm a sucker for top ten lists and countdowns. That made me chuckle.

I have a terrible fear of possums for like no reason.

They are slow-moving, excessively-toothed, disease-ridden, marsupial mammals forgotten by evolution. Its fair.

I used to stalk the boards for a long time before I became a member here just to get a feel for the place and its members.

Eh, this is the 'Drome. If I had a problem with the stranger types of fans, I wouldn't be here. I'm down for that. You educate me on Spiderman, I educate you on... whatever fandom of mine you don't share. Then we write awesome TMNT fiction together until the coffee shop baristas tell us our constant humming of the Fred Wolf theme song is scaring off the other customers.

Slow-moving my a$$! I've been chased by one if those suckers once, and for something bigger than most small dogs, it was quicker than sh*t!! Chased me halfway across my grandmother's yard. They are deceptive little buggers, don't be fooled by their myopic and nocturnal nature. Playing possum isn't their ONLY trick. Tick one off even accidentally, and they will come after your butt.
