New NECA TMNT Lootcrate is up for preorder, same as the last one do all 4 and get a bonus item. First one is Danny from the movie, then arcade, mirage, and cartoon.

And now I'm guessing NECA plans to release figures for every member of Rocksteady's Season 1 gang?

I'm intrigued and delighted that NECA might be adapting Tournament Fighters style characters for their video game line!

Looks like the full line up should be

Movie=== Danny Pennington
Arcade === Armagedon
Mirage === Clone Shredder (claw arms)
Cartoon === ???? (sort of looks like Bugman's villain)
Bonus === Scrag (unmutated henchman)

The cartoon figures are interesting in that they seem really far down in the list of characters to bother with figures. But they could make sense if the plan is to have Bugman and perhaps an unmutated Bebop and Rocksteady in the line around that time as well.

Yeah, "Electrozapper" is a good guess, but the ear-pieces seem to match Donatello's Dark Turtle costume.

I imagine it would be difficult to work out the licensing agreement with Sid Vicious, but I guess they secured some agreement to put it on the figure at least.

Kinda garbage Neca is advertising that the figures are being flipped for more money. Don’t complain and say you’re trying to fight scalpers, then turn around and use it as a selling point.

I get these are 100% attainable for preorder; just bad taste in my opinion.

And someone should tell Neca, it’s just Dan.

Agreed, it's a real amateur look in my opinion.

I'm not overly excited for these, but I'll probably still get the 4-crate plan. It's easy to get rid of them if I decide I don't' like the figure.

Can't say I'm arsed about 75% of the crates, but the promise of a high-end Armaggon figure? Based on his depiction in Tournament Fighters? OHHHHHHHH YES. I'ma need that. Just when I thought I got all the figures I wanted from NECA, they flip the script.

NECA is saying if you miss out, the after market is going for $300.
Nothing wrong with that. It was up for pre-order and if you missed out, that's what happen in the real world.

it's not a selling point per se, but it's a fact that there is an after market for these figures.

Nah, they're saying "Buy these even if you don't care about TMNT, you can resell them for a huge profit!", which is a ****** way to promote these when so many actual fans have been unable to get their hands on them.

I know 8 or 9 people on FB and other places who're buying these with the express intention to resell at an inflated price. Scalping is still a huge issue in the collecting world, especially with hard to find, limited release items like NECA's TMNT lines, so for a toy company to be directly advertising to these scumbags is beyond the pale.
