Interesting change of colour for the spine and I quite like it, especially as it fixes the previous problems. Only problem thing is that that the 'bubbles' are still the previous colour, which I think were to match his eye.

So I've updated my previous pics to reflect Hob's new colour and although it still is similar to the previous pink/purple spines we've had previously it does look way better next to the other volumes:
I've also kept Hob's original colour in the grouped image for comparison:

Can't recall, does the Inside/Out backup story by Eastman and Sienkiewicz feature in these collections?

Most likely the back up stories from the first Jennika mini series will be included in Volume 14 with the mini series itself.

So is there a yellow and purple version of the Volume 12 hob cover? I was planning on picking one up, didn't know if one was considered a first print, etc. Appreciate!

The same thing happened with the Krang cover for volume 10 where it started out dark brown (it looked horrible) but was changed to pink which makes more sense for Krang.

Got my copy of Volume 13 at last; the spine and ribbon colours are basically the same as Volume 5 but slightly darker.
The Raphael macro starts the volume, followed by almost all of the City at War arc as the Shredder in Hell mini series has been placed between issues #99 and #100. Also curiously the last two pages of Issue #100 have been swapped around making the single page image of Yoshi and Tang Shen the last page, presumably so that the 'Fin' at the bottom is the very last word in the book. Now we play the waiting game to see what form the next hardback volume takes as there haven't been any details released thus far. There is of course the paperback edition of Volume 1 due in November. Kind of weird we haven’t seen preorders for vol 14. I guess the pandemic pushed things off.

Well I'm running with the assumption that the paperback editions will be taking up one of the two annual release slots going forward so that new volumes don't catch up to current issues too quickly. If I had to guess, I'd say we'll know more by the end of September at the latest.

Maybe the hardcovers are done with. The next hardcover would cover issue 101 onward, but maybe there's just not much demand for these issues.

Volume 14 has maintained a pretty good spot on the graphic novel best seller list over last couple weeks.
May have gotten a boost from The Last Ronin hype, but 14 volumes in, I’m not so sure. Seems the book is selling pretty well, haters be damned. I haven’t read since around #103, so I can’t really speak to the book’s current quality. |

Not yet. I'm keeping close eye on PRH where it's usually spotted first.
I also spoke with Sophie last week and she's heard nothing since handing over the cover art in the summer.

I bit the bullet and bought the IDW hardcover collections volumes 4-13 yesterday for a decent price. I don't usually bulk-buy OR blind-buy media like this, but IDW's finances seem tenuous and I'm not sure if the hardcovers will be in stock forever.
I (mostly) liked reading volumes 1-2. And it's Ninja Turtles, so I want to familiarize myself with the material — even if it means pushing through some stinky story arcs. I figure a run this long with varied authorship is a mixed bag.

Update: Unboxing and flipping through the hardcovers was a rush — but perhaps I got buzzed from the ink fumes
