Had a chance to look through this a bit more and I'm not sure if this has been mentioned before or not, but it also includes the "A Lot to Learn" story from the 30th anniversary special between issues 4 and 5.

Oh, and it also features a built in red ribbon marker for convenient place saving.

Nice! That's a good story and important for the story flow; glad they got it in there on short notice (maybe it had something to do with the delays).

They included the 30th anniversary story and a ribbon?

All it needs for perfection is a slipcase.

I work at Hastings. My boss said she noticed this in the receiving yesterday and immediately put it aside for me. She's a great person to have around, she always makes sure I have a choice of variant covers when TMNT comes in each month as well. It pays to have connections, lol.

Glad to know this will arrives soon. It sure look very nice!

Was I the only one thinking that pre-ordering would means I would have my issues before or at the same time that the retailers would?

A lot of our "graphic novel" releases come in a bit early. Unlike a lot of other things, they usually aren't hard street dated which means they can immediately go to the sells floor.

They had it at my LCS today too. I was tempted to pick it up, but I'm gonna pray that my Amazon preorder ships before Spec. Ed. If not, I at least hope I can get it before HeroesCon.

Allow me to recommend the "instocktrades" website. I ordered my book from them yesterday. Quality packaging and good customer service.

I'm getting my copy through Amazon so I have a couple weeks to wait yet, but I got a good look at the book at my LCS today.

I did my fair share of bitching about the delays, but it's all worth it to have such a handsome hardcover on my shelf. Kudos to IDW for including the 30th Anniversary story. They didn't have to do that.

My hope is that we get at least one of these each year, though ideally we'd get them faster than that. Fingers crossed.

Mine is being dispatched on June 13th. Good thing it's worth the wait. This will be my introduction to the IDW series and I'm gonna do it in style!

My LCS had about 4 copies today. I am still waiting on my preorder from DCBS but it has shipped. Cool looking book.

I'm not above shilling for IDW if the product's awesome enough.

I probably won't buy one for myself, but I'll definitely get one or two as gifts for my friends. It's the easiest way to get people into the series.
