We think the episode is called Kagayakei Kintaro, we have to wait to wait to be officially confirmed though.

Usagi's episodes look great, if only he could have debuted earlier in the series. Real shame this will be his only appearances even if it is a 3-parter. Another reason we should have gotten 7 seasons so he could return.

It's ending and we're getting another show next year, deal with it already. Or are you going to tell us you want at least 5 seasons out of that when it comes out? |

Im happy with what we're getting, 5 seasons and 124 episodes. Most animated shows don't last that long.
Even if its not for the Nick show alone, one could argue that this "generation" of tmnt will last for 150 episodes Atleast since we're getting 26 episodes from Rise right after the Nick show ends. That's almost as long as the 2003 series, assuming that Rise doesn't get a second season. |

True, but what I mean is that its gonna start right after this show ends during the same time that tmnt is under Nick/Viacom, during the same "era" like the FW era or the 4Kids era.
Even if the Nick show is ending, this era of tmnt still has more to offer and we aren't gonna go into the eventual years long hiatus that happens when one era of tmnt finishes. Last edited by FredWolfLeonardo; 07-15-2017 at 02:12 PM. |

Rise can't be counted as part of the Nick cartoon. Since every future cartoon might be made by Nick (unless they sell the entire property to a new company, but that's unlikely), we should distinguish it from 2012 or Ciro's TMNT, to 2018 TMNT.

Are we still discussing about the Usagi arc?

This thread has been pretty quiet lately, but the discussions will definetly increase seeing as how we are getting the 1st episode of the Usagi Arc next week as well as new information from the Nick tmnt panel at SDCC.

Sure. So I'm guessing that Miyamato Usagi won't be Splinter's replacement for the turtles.

No he won't, Usagi is from a different dimension and the Turtles go to his dimension to help him and the kid dog pug

Definetly not. Even though I don't know alot of Usagi from his original comics, I know that when he has met the tmnt in past versions such as FW and 4Kids, he is not a sensei figure to them but more of an ally.

Oh okay. I already saw the promo. And I don't know what was the name of the dog-like character who's with Miyamoto Usagi.

Nothing to add about the show from a story standpoint, but last night I went to an unofficial TMNT wrap party to end season 5 and the show in general.
It was fun to see people I hadn't seen in months to years as it involved anyone who had worked on the show over the last 5 years up here in Vancouver. I took some pics of the night |

Sounds like it was awesome. I know you worked on animation, but were there any stories that were scrapped or abandoned for one reason or another? I always like hearing about unused ideas.
