Archon_Turtle's Collection Thread

Display Collection Video:

Updated: I've wrapped the pictures of the display collection in spoiler tags to make this first post more manageable. Also, below I have added links to other parts of my collection that are often asked about.

Spoiler:
The newest Vanity Shots of the Vintage Toy and Comic Collection. The only thing on display are comics, playmates toys and prototypes from 88-98, and the portfolio of comic art. This will be the display for the interview this weekend. (Normally the Comics aren't out like that)

Other Parts of My Collection:

Tatoos: http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v2...osterboy/tats/

My Original Art Collection: http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryD...asp?GCat=54209

CGCed Comics: http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v2.../CGC%20Comics/

Other Comics: http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v2...ection/Comics/

Pinball and Arcade: http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v2...0and%20Arcade/

Props: http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v2...lection/Props/

The Primary Directory
This is a link to my primary collection directory. Sifting through this thing will technically show you more of my collection...but not all of it is sorted very nicely. Check it out at your own risk!

...then....I suppose...the house would burn down? What a strange question lol. At any rate, I haven't used that stove in years. There isn't even gas running to it at the moment.

I've been in my current apartment since February and I've never even used the stove or oven Of course, my reason is because I can't cook worth squat.

I'm not picky about carded or loose. I've taken a number of my figs out of their package, especially when I have part of a subset partially out of the package already. I'll take them out of the package to display the whole group together.

it wouldnt hurt you to clean your collection once in a while. you should be particularly concerned about the dust on any of your items with cloth like the undercover turtles. I don't know, maybe it's a girl thing, but Im just picky about dust.

Most of them are clean. I clean stuff when I move it. The shelves themselves are what seldom get cleaned. So worst cast scenario, they have dusty feet. But yes...you are picky.

Besides...you try finding the motivation to keep over a thousand pieces clean. The kitchen is just a portion of the collection lol

My girlfriend supports me in everything i do. As any significant other should...I frankly find it appalling how many people here are in relationships in which their ninja turtle passion (or any other passion for that matter) is a source of tension in their relationship... Honestly... if I was with someone who felt that negatively about such a big part of me...I wouldn't be with them for very long.

Something to consider gang.

This is very true dude!! My girl friend doesn't have to LOVE turtles but she is the kind of person who would NEVER suggest I not do something if she knows it is important to me. That is the most important thing, accepting each other the way we are! Mind you we do live in a VERY small place so I try to keep the displayed collection at a respectable minimum. BUT you bet it would all be out if I had a little more room. I don't think I could display it all even if I lived here alone hahaha.

Some New Stuff

Here is some new stuff that has arrived in the last few days.

Ok this Giant Mutations Raph came like 3 weeks ago, I just never put anything up about it.

Giant Movie III Samurai Raph.

These bootlegs came today actually. You guys know by now how much I love TERRIBLE bootlegs, and these are pretty darn bad.

The hand paint jobs are top notch, and there is flash plastic from the mold holes all over them.

Oh...and their legs don't move

This is a Quarry "test shot" prototype (left), next to the retail figure (right)

Sweet stuff, man. You've got to be the king of obscure TMNT toys.
