Good people, Evil Dead fans everywhere, I bid you a heartfelt farewell playing Ash - the character I took acting lessons with for 39 years.

I am hereby retiring from that portrayal. It’s time. I followed Ash from his formative years thru his mid-life crisis and decline. What a thrill! What a privilege!

We had a great resurgence with the help of Starz (kudos not jeers, folks). They made it possible for 15 more hours of Evil Dead-ness in your life - the equivalent of 10 more features!

Is Ash dead? Never. Ash is as much a concept as a person. Where there is evil in this world, there must be one to counter - man or woman, it matters not.

Watched the Series finale and the Season 4 Set up was amazing. Shame we will never get it.

Haven't watched it yet, but I thought I read that they shot the Season 3 finale as if it were the potential series finale.

Without spoiling anything, is that not true?

Its Open Ended. It teases what S4 could of been

They definitely lied about that. It ends on a massive, dumb cliffhanger.

Think, the unused alternate ending to Evil Dead 2. Except cornier.

Just got around to watching it.

I liked it

Makes sense to me. Bruce and Sam always said they preferred the original ending to Evil Dead 2, so this way we get both.

I'm satisfied. Sad, but satisfied

I kind of prefer the alternate ending of Army of Darkness. One drop too many....

I've always preferred the S-Mart ending, personally. It's just more fun, as much as I appreciate the tone of the other ending.

The more I think about it, I'm glad it ended sooner rather than later. It felt weird hoping we get to see a 60 year old man get the sh*t kicked out of him on a daily basis.

Bruce Campbell has said talks about doing Season 4 as an animated series have come up
