Yeah, every Marvel press release for AKA Jessica Jones says it'll be out in 2015.

Its nearly done filming the 13 episode order. Filming started around February 8th. Information also says that Luke Cage is already cast and is a reoccurring character in AKA Jessica Jones which will lead into his own series. Iron Fist has yet to be cast. It would be great to be out before August so I can watch it when I have more free time.

I liked it. Very in tone and it really felt like an unexplored area of the MCU.

I just finished the first season: Waiting until next year for the second season is going to feel like eternity! I'm very impressed with the casting and plot movement, especially with the thought they put into Kingpin/Fisk. As terrible of a person as he is, the series actually made me feel sympathetic towards him, which isn't common with any super villain. My favorite episodes are the ones with flashbacks in them: The execution is just so well done, as it's something that tends to be clunky when attempted elsewhere.

Foggy is perfect comedic relief in what is otherwise a very dark, violent show. Avocados will never be the same again.

Tell me about it. I don't watch too much TVish shows as it is, and right now, DareDevil is the only one I give a crap about. It is going to be so long. Maybe I'll catch up on Agent Carter. Haven't seen that one yet.

Incredibly awesome series, best thing Marvel has ever produced outside of comics I'd say. Bout time this franchise got some justice (pun intended)

Frank Miller did write both Daredevil and then Batman back in the 80s, defining all that gritty crime stuff. (And inspiring Ninja Turtles of course, oddly enough.

Oh, Frank Miller... in an alternate reality, you actually understand women and write relatable non-offensive female characters. Just not in MY reality.

And seeing how Marvel Studios is still running things, I don't think we have to worry about that.

It's way too soon to do the Born Again storyline. If they do go that route, I hope Foggy is the one who gives him up instead of Karen.

Going by the direction of this series it would seem more likely though does it have to happen at all?

It should. Born Again is a great DD story, back when Miller was at the top of his game. It would be a crime not to do an adaptation of it considering how much of Miller's comics are heavily influencing this show.

Just finished the series last night, and wow. Everything from the fight choreography, to the cinematography, to the acting. Just so well done, all of it.

They even lampshaded everything that needed to be lampshaded.
Bring on season 2!

(And here's to hoping this bodes well for the other Netflix original Marvel shows on the way.)
