i agree with the speculation. it must have been earlier concept art, now disowned, but sadly the finished product might not be too far off from what that tried to show.

I wish I could say that i hope nick is prepared for the backlash from fans if this is truly as bad as we all fear, but people love cute pointless crap these days. so it probably might be loved :/

I absolutely love the bulk of them, I'd gladly welcome something that new/different. I've been a fan since I saw them years ago & they're a big part of why I wanted to see Andy's vision for the TMNT, so I remain excited & hopeful (however cautious of it being more kid-friendly).

Hope you're right. Provided the designs and writing are bearable, I can deal with "weird" if by weird they mean more like bizarre, rather than weird as in "too much of a departure from the true TMNT."

That was Ciro who said they were fake, not Nickelodeon. But then later Ciro said "oh ****" so obviously they weren't fake.

Nick also said that the Mutant Apocalypse isn't the finale of the show and that it's just a "what if", so yeah...

You might as well just save any speculation to whenever the first trailer or official reveal hits. Because obviously now there's just way too much misinformation going around.

Agreed, personally I'd shelf the 2018 TMNT show or any speculation on it till we have official confirmation. It's almost like when people "speculate" on a director who says they'd be to doing a TMNT movie, they're just saying "sure why not lol #maybe #jk #whoknows", just a bunch of nonsense out there now.

That's just Nick doing damage control, like it or not, its the final, if the producers say it is, I stick with them, many shows sometimes air out of order.

Exactly, so who says this isn't the same thing? Concept art got leaked, then comes the damage control saying it's fake and hopes things die off long enough so people forget about it until they're ready to show up and prove up it was all true after all, we've seen that happen way to many times already, and not only on cartoons...

I don't think there's anything that's come from the BLE 2017 yet. They said we may see something between now and Thursday about the 2018 show.

The show isn't coming out till Fall 2018 which is a year away. They probably don't want to show off anything too early.

It would be awesome if shows did release some things early and got fan feedback. Like a focus group. I know fans have various opinions and it's often difficult to agree on things. But creators could get a general consensus on what's working and what needs an adjustment. But I guess art and the creative processes don't function that way.

I wonder if sometimes "leaks" are intentional in order to try and get a little feedback. That way if the material is not liked it can be dismissed as an unfinished early stages product that wasn't supposed to be seen.

When/where exactly did Nickelodeon say there'd be info about Rise at this event? I've only seen fan pages making that claim. All I read was that they'd be giving partners an exclusive look (which came from NickAlive! a site whose credibility I know nothing of). Partners ain't fans. It's product people who have had working relationships with Viacom/Nick that may wanna license the new stuff.
