Gosh my want to read list is growing daily. Close to fifty, and sixteen of them are bat books. After seeing this post I added the below.

I knew about Hush. But not Heart of Hush or the others such as Streets of Gotham vol. 1 Hush Money, Streets of Gotham vol. 2 Leviathan, Streets of Gotham vol. 3 House of Hush.

Hopefully by September I can start reading some of these.

There is 'Pushback' the follow up to the 'Hush' storyline. It took place in Gotham Knights#50-54. From issue #50 of the title Hush essentially took it over through its cancellation with #74.

I heard that was not necessarily required reading or as good as the others mentioned. But it was just one random opinion. Do you recommend it?

Pushback I would, but not the rest of the arcs. In the story Riddler knows the identity of the person who forced him to take the job to rob the playing card company. Eddie would give the info to Joker in exchange for protection from Hush. I don't remember exactly why Thomas Elliott wants Riddler sead orher than they failed and he kniws too much. It features one of only two instances which Joker, Penguin, and The Riddler are all gathered in a room. Its not classic like the other two stories but its not bad either like what comes after Pushback in Gotham Knights.

I created a new thread dedicated to DC Comics villains. Comment on the first one I posted about and after that post any DC villain of interest.

Wow, weird. I wonder if everyone else disliked the All-Star Batman stories as much as I did?

It reminds me how Grant Morrison jumped from Batman(title) to launching Batman & Robin to launching Batman Inc. essentially telling his story over three titles one after the other. Is that what Snyder is doing here?

I answered your Blockbuster question in the other thread and posted a write up on Deathstroke. Gentleman Ghost will be after that. Hope you all like the idea.

Snyder does seem as if he's trying to imitate his favorite writers a lot of the time.

he's "borrowed" plenty of ideas from Grant Morrison already, so i wouldn't be at all surprised.

Read dark days the forge. Super confusing! I guess it's not for casual DC fans.

Pretty much all DC/Marvel comics are not for casuals.

Yeah most likely a slim few titles are easily followed. I have started reading SuperSons and I'm going along well with that so far. Also started Defenders and that's a little better. I guess this is what I get for trying something new.

Super Sons is good, I just didn't stay interested in it.

Really, at this point, the only titles I'm faithfully following are The Flash and Red Hood and the Outlaws.

I am waiting for the Red Hood to die a heroic death.

Do you prefer Barry or Wally?

Barry. Sorry, man, the CW show is what made me a Flash fan.

And hey, my favorite Robin would kill the Joker if DC Comics would let him.

Giving him an epic heroic death to make his fans happy to see a glorious moment with him in the spotlight. As long as he bites it I do not care.

Typically I prefer the iconic versions but I like what was done with Wally West as the main Flash. If you wish you can do a Flash Rogue profile, any one of them on my thread.

So in September, they're teasing Dick and Babs romance again [yay], finally reuniting Oliver and Hal Jordan [yay], and Wonder Woman's new writer for the next few months is James 'Cry for Justice' Robinson [boo]

What are the old wounds that Barbara and Dick have to reopen that they hoped would remain forgotten related to a dusted off villain? The Joker is to obivious. I would question if it comes from Barbara's original run as Batgirl and if that is the case then could it be Cormorant? Dick Grayson did not appear in the 1980 two parter whole Batman was cofeatured in the second part. Dick Grayson did not appear in The Last Batgirl Story special either in 1988. Perhaps there will beva littlebrewrite to include him in some way or it could be somone completely different.
