Or...the world gets destroyed, but civilization rebuilds itself after?

I admit I'll be disappointed if this issue is part of some alternate timeline or something, I hope this is in-universe and not some alternate dimension story or something.

There's several things he could do with it, but Berger's a good writer so I'm not gonna worry about it.

From what I know:

Based purely on visuals, and applying generous amounts of Nick Fury logic to Shadow, I would put her in her 30's, maybe her 40's.

Definitely not the last story in the "full" timeline.

Great cameo.
