Can someone tell me the different versions of remote control BB-8 toys that are out there?
I think there's a $150 one that is controlled by an app. I'm guessing that's the best one. But how are the other ones, I really don't want to spend $150 on it, are the other versions alright? |

I was able to find the Darth Vader/Ahsoka two pack at a Target near me. I absolutely love it/them.

Popped into my local toy store yesterday to get my niece a birthday present.
Checked the TMNT and Star Wars figures...instantly drawn to the new Star Wars 3.75" figures! Only thing is, and I wonder what other UK peeps think of this...£10...that's quite a bit of money for something this size. I know inflation has gone up since I was 8 years old (1990) but I still think the true value / worth of these types of figures is between £5 and £7. There's about 4-5 figures I want (Rey, Finn, Kylo Ren plus some TMNT), but in reality that's £50....just too much. These toy companies need to have a long hard look in the mirror at their RRP costs! Probably still get Rey and Kylo Ren....and maybe Finn....£30.....gahhhhh

So I was going through my stuff in storage and found my box of Star Wars stuff. Neat!
I apparently have 35 Star Wars figures plus Jabba, all of which came out between around 1997 and 2002 or 2003, I'd wager. I got stuff from "Power of the Force" up through Episode II. Some of the Episode II figures are still in the package. All with full accessories and weapons. Pretty sure I have ALL the backing cards in another box somewhere. Gotta clean 'em up, they definitely need a good soak. But aside from being a very wee bit dusty all they ever did was sit on a shelf for 10 years, then sit in a box for another 10 years. Hardly ever been played with, no wear and tear at all. I used to rinse 'em once a week when they were on display. They're in REALLY good shape. I got all the sound chips for the ones that did that gimmick, too, like the Ep. I figures. Off the top of my head, I got a long-blade blue lightsaber Luke, PotF Vader, Jedi Luke, PotF Boba Fett, Slave Leia, PotF Han, Carbonite Han, Darth Maul, Ep. I Yoda, Hoth Chewie, PotF R2 and 3PO, Ki-Adi Mundi, Ep. I Padme, Ep. I Amidala, Ep. I Mace Windu, Mail-Away Mace Windu in-package, Podracer Anakin, Padawan Ep. I Anakin, Ep. I "naked" 3PO, Ep. II Anakin, Ep. II Count Dooku in-package, PotF Emperor, Emperor w/Lightning, Ep. I Darth Sidious, Qui-Gon, Ep. I Obi-Wan, PotF Obi-Wan, RotJ "old man" Anakin, PotF Lando, and I'm drawing a blank on the rest but there's more than that. All with weapons and accessories. I also got a PotF Jabba, and the Millenium Falcon that came out around 2000 or whenever. Kinda bummed I don't have any Ep. III figures. Maybe I'll find some cheap somewhere.

This thread is a picture in time, before the dark times, before the TFA. Hope and hype for the sequel trilogy.

So I finally cleaned up and took inventory on my loose figures. From "Power of the Force", I have:
- Anakin Skywalker (w/Blue Lightsaber) - Boba Fett (Dots on hand, w/Sawed-Off Blaster Rifle & Jet Pack) - C-3PO (w/Removable Arm) - Chewbacca - Hoth (w/Bowcaster Rifle) - Darth Vader (w/Red Lightsaber) - Emperor Palpatine (w/Walking Stick) - Emperor Palpatine w/Force Lightning - Grand Moff Tarkin (w/Imperial Issue Blaster Rifle & Pistol) - Han Solo (w/Heavy Assault Rifle & Blaster) - Han Solo - Carbonite - Jabba the Hut and Han Solo Two-Pack - Lando Calrissian - General's Gear (w/Blaster Pistol) - Luke Skywalker - Dagobah (Long Blue Lightsaber) - Luke Skywalker - Jedi Knight (Black Vest & Green Lightsaber) - Obi-Wan Kenobi (Short Blue Lightsaber) - Princess Leia - Jabba's Prisoner - Mace Windu - Episode I Sneak Preview Figure From the Episode I series, I have: - Adi Gallia (w/Orange Lightsaber) - Anakin Skywalker - Naboo (w/Comlink Unit) - Anakin Skywalker - Tatooine (w/Backpack, missing Grease Gun) - C-3PO - Darth Maul - Jedi Duel (Gray Vest, w/Double-Bladed Lightsaber) - Darth Sidious - Ki-Adi Mundi (w/Purple Lightsaber) - Mace Windu (w/Blue Lightsaber & Jedi Cloak) - Obi-Wan Kenobi - Jedi Duel - Padme Naberrie (w/Pod Race View Screen) - Queen Amidala - Naboo (w/Blaster Pistols) - Qui-Gon Jinn - Jedi Duel (w/Green Lightsaber) - R2-D2 - Yoda (w/Jedi Council Chair) I swear I have Anakin's grease gun somewhere, but I have all the other weapons and accessories. I knew this would happen: I went through all this stuff and now I wanna get all the figures I don't have. Dammit!

I just got into this line not too long ago. Have been hounding the Asohka figure and the Mandalorian Imperial Storm Troopers that came out. Army building is an expensive drug.

Thanks for putting me on the spot dude
I just started, all I have is 3 332nd Asohka Troopers and two Manadlorian Imperial Troopers. But I have become addicted to trying to get as many as I can. When I do you'll be the first to see. Hopefully. |

Kenner have snared me with their 3.75 line, The Vintage Collection.
Been out the SW game for a while, is this just the 3.75 Black Series line re-branded? Just ordered some Mando variations, Boba Fett (ROTJ) plus the Fett, 3PO and R2 Droids figures.
